about us Premium Soy Candles Custom Product Lines Candle Fund-Raisers Bath & Body Products oi! soy candles was started in 2005 by Kim, Shannon & Brennan Black. Along with family friend, Toby Messitt heading up the sales effort, we set out to build a better candle company. We each have had years of retail experience selling thousands of candles, in stores such as  , which carries furniture and home decor, the candle boutique  and craft supply store  . Kim and Shannon were looking to invest a little money and start a family business. Being frustrated with the general lack of quality and the same-old fragrances in the vast majority of candles, it was quickly agreed that we make the exact product that we would want to use. After doing a little research it was then agreed that for many reasons, soy was the way to go. There you have it...oi! soy candles was born. We then set about creating an original premium quality candle line, with unique and interesting fragrances and striking style. After weeks of searching, we finally found the unique curved container that later became the oi! Signature Candle. Within our first year, oi! had developed 20 diverse fragrances and oi! products were carried by 50+ locations. A LOT more about us coming shortly... |
