The Stand Ministries is a ministry founded with the purpose of strengthening, empowering, and encouraging teens to make a stand for Christ in their daily lives. Acknowledging that teens today are living in a world much different then previous generations, The Stand Ministries, has been challenged to reach out to teens using the most current technological avenues available as well as more personal outreaches such as the annual Stand event held in Springfield, Missouri. The Stand Event is designed to be a powerful and uplifting event that will encourage teens to take a stand for their faith while providing them with valuable tools to help them accomplish that vision. Linking Christian teens together from around the area will help them to know they are not alone in their daily struggle to follow Christ. The vision of The Stand Event is that it will be an experience that has a lasting impression on every teen in attendance, while also acting as a springboard towards continuous spiritual growth and leadership. While The Stand Event is a one night event; The Stand Ministries director, Josh Tarbet, strongly feels that The Stand Ministries needs to provide continuous resources and support to all who attend.
