Was on ebay a little while ago looking at listing's and everything looked fine. Just got back on and it looks like they just launched their new looking format. I DON'T LIKE IT!!!

It's umm... interesting! (Now we wait with baited breath for all the "I can't log in!" or "I'm getting errors!" messages.)

I'm sure eBay tested all the new code in a sandbox before releasing it.

Mine looks the same as well but takes forever to load.
Did they change the page in the middle of your auction or is this a new one?

That's not a screen shot of one of my listing's. It is another sellers listing I was looking at. I checked my listing's and it looks like they have changed also though. The only thing that looks to have changed is the top portion. Why did they need to change this??? What was wrong with it before??? I can't say I see anything new there, they just shuffled everything around alot. Nice way to confuse buyers even more.

Mike...They had to rearrange the page to free up more room at the top next to the "Meet the Seller" section. That is where we will have to post mug shots of ourselves starting April 1st. After receiving input from the buying community, Ebay decided that photos of the sellers would afford buyers the opportunity to avoid sellers with beady eyes, handlebar mustaches and missing front teeth and deal only with those of us who have honest faces.

sparkz - Your kidding right? Pictures of sellers. Boy, they must have handed out the good crack to the new feature idea people at ebay if it is true.

I am sure it is going to happen, I just filled out a survey today from ebay about changes they are going to make to the community. They really want to create a sense of community - which may include blogs. Overall, I am in favor of this, I think one of the reasons I am successful is because I engage my customers, thus making them repeat customers. I have to disagree with you on the new look, I actually like it...

What was wrong with it before???

It loaded too quickly. Everything that ebay does, is designed to get auction pages to load slower and slower. Looks like they were very successful this time.

I like the new look too, more organised and less cluttered, in my opinion. A big plus is that it supports lower resolutions (for us aging, visually challenged folks) without a lot of scrolling to get to the essential info.
