This type of promo actually makes sense, if any one knew about it, it encourages people to list higher priced items which gives Ebay a larger FVF and more money to PayPal. Too bad no one knew about it so they could take advantage of it.

I didn't get it either, I happened to go onto the announcement board yesteday and there it was. I guess it will cut down on the number of listings, but seems unfair if sellers are not told about it.

I didn't get the notice in email either - I found it in the announcement section of "My Ebay".
