i heard there is a site that needs sellers BAD!!

only thing is, you need to download a virus-laden monstrosity they call a bid bar.

i believe it is called nobid, or slowbid, or...

wait! lowbids ...that's it! yea, lowbids.

im in here talking about something completely different, and in comes pocono who turns the conversation into a 'why i hate lowestbids' topic. if you have a problem with them talk to them. i remember seeing their ceo ask that you call him.

moderator i understand that this may be against your guidelines, and i am sorry.

I didn't get any but then again I never did get my eBay credits. They said I had gotten 52 of the 89 but never could find them. Such is life.

I was addressing the topic.

Please stop being confrontational, or I will be forced to ask for moderation.

Thank you.

Pocono:

Thank you! Thanks to you, I decided to give lowestbids.com a try. Anyone who spends so much time and effort bad mouthing others is not someone I give much credence to. Thanks to your constant harping against lowestbids.com, I will be giving them an honest try (although not exclusive)

I will wait until they have web page registration though- I don't have room on my C Drive for much more stuff- and it seems every program wants to reside on the C Drive under 'Program Files'

I suggest that if you do not have proof that their program is "virus laden" you retract that statement. It is libelous and people have gone to jail for making such comments. I suspect that the statement is against AW TOS as well and such defaming statements should not be tolerated.

no, your post said that you heard of a site that wanted sellers bad but that you had to download something in order to do it. completely off topic.

I welcome any and all lawsuits, and will answer if such should arise.

I could use a reimbursment for my damage.

Please do not feel so concerned for my well being, as i am quite capable of handling my own affairs.

I am very pleased to hear that their user base will jump in membership by 100% when you join.

Good luck to you.

Lowestbids should be proud to have a member like you, and you deserve them as well.

I would like further information on any such person that ever went to jail for such.

Civil suits are for money, not punishable by incarceration. Less of course, you can't pay

Joker, as Pat stated earlier, if a violation arises, the MODERATOR will deal with it post haste, not you, a user.

im not trying to deal with it. all i said was that you chose to come in here and change the subject, completely stepping out of bounds. if a moderator wishes to step in, i have no problem with that.

Pocono:

I have you filtered out. I no longer want to read anything you have to say. It's obvious you have a problem with someone and are trashing them and their site - that is not a very nice thing to do.

pegasus, if you knew what "I" know, you would choose to associate with a different "group" if you will.

I look to HELP people here, and do not trash anyone unjustly.

If ever I do, then anyone who has been here for any length of time knows, "I" am the first to come forward and make a public apology.

I am not wrong here. I give you my "Personal Guarantee", and you can print it out for future reference if you like

The joker said:

you chose to come in here and change the subject, completely stepping out of bounds.

But, wasn't it YOU that asked where you can place an item for sale?

And wasn't it "I" that recommended the site that you are so fond of?

I do declare, there is no pleasing some people.

It was exactly on topic if you ask me.

i didn't say where could i sell it, i asked if i could sell it. doesn't matter, because i still interpret it as being off topic.

oh I would think then, that selling credits from an auctionsite would not be permitted.

At least at Yahoo or eBay.

I hope this has been helpful information for you.

I just wanted to respond to your post about web based registration. You will be able to use our site without a BidBar. The only thing is you might lose a little funtionality which enables you to go to other sites and still keep live in your auctions. But everything else will be about the same.

no need to post it again.

i can rant and rave as well as the next guy. what bothers me about this is that you stated that you had these problems, yet im curious to know if you have tried again recently? every auction sites go through problems. but instead of giving lowestbids three strikes, it seems that you adapted the one and done approach. why dont you give them another whirl?

What's this about the Bidbar being "virus-laden"? I just downloaded it but have not installed yet. Probably should scan it I guess. Is this true?

What's your problem with this site? Clearly stated facts would help.
