I have not had many listed, but out of about 35 listing on each Yahoo and E-bay! I sold about 75% on Yahoo and 60% on E-bay last weekend!

I agree whole heartedly with Tracyg!

Even with bids and higher priced Instant Buys!

Some repeat customers and some New!

My items are lower end collectibles!

I have also noticed on sites that have only Final Value Fees that folks have moved from Yahoo and are doing the same as they did here!

Listing with high prices and reserves and relisting every two days with the bulk loader to direct any prospective customers to their web pages where they really sell their merchandise!

These same folks flooded Yahoo two years ago and made it a real pain to bring customers from E-Bay to Yahoo!

I do not intend on listing items at lower prices and better quality then these folks just to attract a few customers to view 100s and 100s of their items of almost the same thing for weeks on end and relisted every two days!

One such party on Yahoo has over 100 feed back and not even 60 items listed as sold!

Go to their linked web pages and many items are sold there!

These venues cannot run for free!

Thanks Traceyg, I appreciate a reply which
actually addressed my question. There are
some people that like to make controversy
out of everything with their comments. They
must sit all day just making "smart" replies
to person's questions or opinions. It is
interesting how very far the topic can stray.
I have some of my very best items sitting on
epier right now and they have received a very few looks and no bids. With many stores
closing in my area like K Mart and Wards, it
just makes me wonder if the problem is not
the economy in this country right now. The
news paper today was full of the news of
major businesses down sizing, etc. This
country is going to have so many people
unemployed, they don't have the money to
buy.>>

I think the people worried about a slow down is one effect and high gas prices, tax time etc. . . I know in my time on selling on Yahoo about 1 and 1/2 years that a few things that I see most sellers don't do has helped increase my sales. It on all auction markets is becoming a slimmer market for sellers. Many that are here now won't be a few years from now. Some will complain and some in the long run will learn how to hone their skills better for better sales. Looks like you will be the latter : ) I add shipping to the desription. I take Paydirect and have been "verified" by them. I also do many first bid first win and place it in the title. I give a good description probably to much but better more then less. When I made these changes each time I saw my sales ratio go up a bit. . There is still money to be made on Yahoo. I have had about 20 sales this week. I won't be buying a covette with them but they will after expenses cover cable (which now is 44.00 bucks here) internet connection and a few other minor expenses.

Wishing you lots of luck and sales
