Two sales today, one during ebay "down" time. That's three the past few days. Works for me, but I'm using my funny money at this time.

Yahoo now seems to have implemented another of it's Yahoobot new features: The Yahoobot copyright protector. Here is what just happened to me:
There is a still popular computer game called Red Storm Rising from 1989. The problem is, most of the versions were sold with 5.25" floppys and if you ever find one with 3.5" floppys, you can't copy those floppys unless you have some special equipment. I made several dozen 3.5" copies and when I get a used 5.25" version, I add my copies of the 3.5" floppys to the package so modern computers can read the disks. This is all perfectly legal.
So tonight I listed a brand new shrinkwrapped version with my funny money as collectors may want this rare find, but I also mentioned the 3.5" copies would be included as well.
When I submitted the auction, I got a screen that said the auction had been rejected and told me to go read TOS. So I went back to the ad and simply changed every use of the word "copy" to "duplicate". I resubmitted the ad and it was accepted, no problem.
Too those of us who suffered through Neighborhood Watch and form letter responses, it looks like another case of dejavu all over again.
