apbabruce: It sounds like it wasn't sent Priority Mail -- even though I believe a laptop would weigh enough so that it would have to go Priority through the USPS. Did you pay for insurance (I hope)? I always do -- no matter what. If so, tell the ray of sunshine that you are filling out a USPS form and your Post Office will fill out its part and then mail it to her for her input plus for her to attach the insurance stub. Then, when your Post Office gets it back, they will process your claim. Good luck to you in the meantime. I hope some of this can apply to you. By the way, what was her negative feedback to you about?

Well, the laptop was allegedly shipped by the seller via UPS Priority. It never arrived. She claims it was returned to her VIA FEDERAL EXPRESS in pieces, and that I did it. Not likely.
I actually told the *$%#@ I'd let Chicago PD fingerprint me so she could compare prints on the unit to mine...she'd find very quickly I never touched the damn thing.
And in her feedback, she called me a crook, called me unstable, said I needed to be institutionalized. And in private email, she referred to me as a "psychopath who needs mental attention immediately."
I'm wondering if she was referring to herself or me....
