While a handful of 9-11 surviving wives are now hitting the campaign trail in support of kerry....I found this very moving article about how other surviving family members see the same situation so very differently and are supporting this President's re-election.

Re-elect President Bush!!

How do you figure the right place would be Minnesota? With those hot summers and freezing cold and snowy winters??? I would think Hawaii would be a nice place to experience some carnage, or perhaps Southern California. Both places offer spectacular views, sunny beaches... perfect. lol.

Bear lives in the great state of Texas.
Seems like I know of another Texan that wound up starting a bad war and now has no idea of how to end his bad war. Iraq over 1,050 dead American troops with over 7,000 wounded and still counting. Don't forget over 200 billion U.S. dollars spent in Iraq and still counting.

bigpeepa - I saw your post before. That's NOT going to keep me from correcting your continuing false statements. Hope that's clear to you.
--------------------
helen - Those losses are our most precious treasures...and losing them hurts most all of us. But the fact remains that to not fight this war on terror is going to cost many MORE of our precious lives.
To do nothing...would be to set ourselves up for another 9-11 where we lost THREE TIMES the number of American's that we have in Iraq/Afghanistan. And the 3000 we lost in the twin towers were innocent men, women and children...not our *military* who are trained to go after these shum bags who wish to destroy us.
Get that picture? And the paliminary cost of 9-11 was initially estimated to have cost us $91Billion dollars. I haven't seen a new total since the initial one was given....so it might be much higher.
So if we withdraw, like you have said we should do from the beginning of this war....then maybe YOU'D like to feel and experience exactly what the 9-11 victims went though...since I believe that's just what would happen if the terrorists win because of voters like you.

LOL twelve. They're not concerned....and neither am I....it's just part of their 'game'. Maybe by the personal statements they throw my way...they can get me...the most vocal one...to go away.
There's not a thing wrong with my physical nor my mental health....and it does make for enjoying a few good laughs...especially with some who have said it. Cause I've thought the same about their mental health for years.

As the family members who they lost said in my link:
Last month, on the third anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I had the privilege of visiting with some of our brave and dedicated military men and women who are recuperating from their wounds at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
These young Americans and their families remain staunchly committed to the mission of protecting us and our children and bringing freedom to Iraq. They do not understand why the media refuse to tell the American people about the good work they have accomplished and the progress they are making. These valiant soldiers believe, as one Iraqi blogger put it, that "their river of blood is our river of hope," and that the pessimism of the media is a betrayal that our troops and the Iraqi people do not deserve.
[/b]LIBERALS, kerry supporters[/b], Try listening to the words of those who have given themselves for our safety. Rather than only use their injuries and deaths to promote your own candidate
It was these young people whom I thought of when Interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi stood before a joint session of Congress last week and paid tribute to the sacrifices of his countrymen and the coalition forces fighting for us all. For political partisans to call the hope of so many a cynical calculation or a foolish dream risks, with a few cheap words, energizing our enemies who measure their success by the blood and tears of these brave hearts. Optimism in the face of obstacles is not living in "fantasyland." It's courage.
The 9/11 widows traveling with John Kerry talk about their fear of a war with no end, but there are many of us 9/11 families who fear that John Kerry would turn this crucial historic opportunity into a losing war with no hope. We think George W. Bush got it right. We believe this is the right war, in the right place, at the right time. We think the good guys are winning.
Ms. Burlingame, a lifelong Democrat, is co-founder of 9/11 Families for a Safe and Strong America (www.911familiesforamerica.org). Her brother, Chic Burlingame, was the pilot of American Airlines flight 77, which was crashed at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
------------------
Hear their words of how they see what our left-leaning media and those anti-war supporters are doing to their moral.

twelvetoes you shouldn't flatter yourself so much. Thinking what you or one of your kind say is important and truthful is unrealistic. Frankly I believe most people would find that your posts and the ones from your friends very boring. You guys have very little original thoughts a lot of your posts are just copy and paste bore. Making a comment like you just made shows your shallow mentality. It reminds me of your failed leader trying to debate a much smarter man John Kerry.
I only post here because I really enjoy reading the comments of the bright, open, quick minds of the Democrats here on this board.
About Linda_K its no ploy on my part that I don't want to interact with her. I really do believe she is in trouble and needs help.
Back you and your other friends like bear, parklane, yellowtoes, and a couple others. I will gladly bang heads with you people all day long. But the ones that really make you guys look very bad are the smart ones like Maggie, Crowfarm, Rustygumbo, and a few others. I don't know how you guys stand it 90% of the time you open your mouths they make you look like fools time and time and time again.
I am off to my other past time reading. Its fun to read you guys should try it sometime. sometime.
