"Cheryl, don't be concerned about the opinion of "not so classy", classic. Compassion is not a trait of those who hide their arrogant disregard for humanity under the deceptive banner of "compassionate republicans"."
To have compassion and humanity for a man that sleeps with kiddies?? You're as sick as he is.

The jury didn't have enough proof to convict him on this particular case so I agree with their decision.
I think Jackson is intelligent enough to understand what he's doing is not socially acceptable, especially after the last incident a few years ago so he must have been aware that the public objected to it and it isnt considered a normal way to behave for an older man to have young boys in his bed whether he is molesting them or not.
Jackson is an adult and he has the responsibility of raising his own children so hopefully hes making them aware of what can possibly happen if they sleep in an older mans bed.... even if that man pretends to be Peter Pan or a child just like they are.

Thomas Mesereau, Jackson's attorney will be the guest on Larry King's show tonight...CNN at 9:00 EST.
"He's allowed families to come into his life, not just young boys. Their parents were allowed to stay over, they did stay over, everything was done with the parents' permission," Mesereau said. "They were allowed to come in and out of his room. The prosecution tried to misinterpret and misconstrue what Michael Jackson did, and they failed, as they should have."
"As far as Neverland and his home, he's been too nice to too many people. You know, people get to Michael with a sad story about their life, and he's so generous, he's so kindhearted, he takes people in and does nice things for them, and they suddenly decide they want to get rich off of Michael Jackson, and that has to change. He has to be a lot tougher with who he lets into his life, and who he allows to run around his home, and that will happen."
It's not a matter of it being ok - of course sexual molestation is not ok. It's a matter of what he was on trail for. He was not on trail for any of those past allegations - I was just saying that the prosecution tried to use those past allegations to show a pattern of abuse and they couldn't prove the pattern. I believe one of the five (all of whom are adults now)testified that he was abused - but the defense was able to make him seem at least questionable in his credibility.

::If you recall, there was a civil suit in the OJ Simpson case. Reasonable doubt was created in that trial as well. There will always be some lawyer somewhere chasing any trial that could net some money for him/her.::
Cheryl. You are talking about a mother that first went to a lawyer that had previously negotiated a 20 million dollar settlement when she believed her son had been molested then waited two more months before going to the police. This family is a lawyers nightmare and there is going to be no money to be had from a civil suit. We are talking about a family that that conned a settlement out of Pennies by aledging abuse and then talkied numerous people and groups into doing fund raisers to raise funds to cover medical expenses that were already covered. Mom is a con artist, she's taught her kids the art of deception, no jury is going to like them and no lawyer that has not been in a coma for the past 18 months and heard reaction to their testimony is going to take a money losing case. There is no money in this type of case unless you win and with this family, they cannot win.

cherished....I do understand what you're saying, really. But how many movie stars, pop artists get accused by 5 different young boys of taking sexual advantage of them? It's rare, was my point. There's got to be some reason for it. And I don't think it's all related to money BECAUSE of jackson own actions. Lots of stars have money, but don't put themselves in this particular situation where the sexual accusations keep coming.
Sexual predators will do anything, use any method they can to lure young children to do what they want. If they need love and attention, they get it from these predators. And the child predators always spend their free time around children....rather than around adults and then children too.
Then when the children make these types of accusation....they get the SAME treatment raped women get. They're put on trial...they're made to look like the liars, like the whore, made to look as bad as they can be made to look.
In this case...this money grabbing mother didn't help. And I think the verdict might have been much different had SHE not so alienated the jurors.
It's hard enough for rape victims to go to trail but I think of the much younger victims....who by testifying not only have to fact the one that violated them...but then there's so much other 'garbage' that goes along with it. The homosexual aspect of it....how much they 'went' along with it because 'they' enjoyed certain parts of 'being romanced by the predator'...etc. Lots of shame on the victims part that's involved.
But...it's over now. Time will be the only real TRUTH teller. And if jackson is a child predator....he'll not be able to keep from victimizing another young boy at some point.

Could it be possible that he's not guilty, period? I see people convicting him just because they see him as weird, therefore he must be doing something wrong. He had plastic surgery to make himself look like Peter Pan. So what? Women have it all the time hoping to look like a model. Big deal. He wears make-up. Big deal. He's spent most of his money on a fairy tale setting for kids and families so he could molest them? Makes NO sense to me.

No Krafty - I don't think that it is possible that he is completely innocent of child molesation. It has nothing to do with plastic surgery of a pet llama, there is just way too much smoke.
I think that if I told you that my neighbor John paid parents and went to them in tears in order to get them to let their pubescent boys sleep in his bed night after night you would be screaming bloody murder that I need to be calling the police. Put a platinum record on his wall and suddenly it's all just histeria born of artist eccentricities?

Heaven help anyone who's different, or loves kids. So, some of you think with all his money he would set up this elaborate multi-million dollar scheme for sexual fulfillment instead of just paying someone to have sex with him? As for the make-up and all that, don't you think it's easier to believe these types of accusations because of his lifestyle? I've heard lots of negative stories about him but I've yet to hear one piece of evidence that points to his guilt.

Krafty - you have heard teens that had absolutely nothing to gain testify that he molested them - what do you want... semen sample and video?

I think I made it clear Kraft, that I don't think he is guilty because he 'looks different' (thats a whole other story!) but it IS a fact that he had young boys sleep in his bed. If thats not bad, I don't know what is. Let me explain, any other non celebrity male, who has young boys sleep with him, the Dept of Social Services would swoop down in a heartbeat and do all they can (and they can do a lot!) But not for Jackson.
Thats great that he loves kids, have them over, pet his animals in his zoo, ride the rides and games that are there for kids, lets not have them sleep with Jackson.
He was interviewed on tv and admitted that he did, that that was HIS way of showing love. In this day and age of pedophia run rampant, you know people are going to think, and believe that he's messin with those kids! AGAIN the parents should never allowed 'overnighters' period. But they did, and he slept with them. Whether he sexually molested them? I would say yes, but no, the prosecution did not have any smoking guns.
About the way he looks. I could care less. If you want me to say how I think he looks, ok, his plastic surgery has gone amuck, he barely has a nose, his skin is white, but he claims he has some skin disease that affects blacks. I've seen pictures of this disease, and it does not look like Jackson.
But I can't prove he doesn't have some disease.
He has 2 small children. In public (when allowed) the children are to wear masks. Ok fine, but what are they going to be like when they are older, living cloistered in Never Never Land?
Never liked him; never liked his music; always found his whole stichk to be somewhat repellant...
But, so what? Basically, from what I read everyday, the prosecution had NO case what-so-ever, other than his being weird & the "testimony" of a family who has never told the truth twice in the same day!
Listening to some of the rabid witches on COURT TV last night screaching about MJ sleeping with "little boys," I was appalled that these legal "experts" seemed devastated that he wasn't convicted just on the basis of his being strange!
I was very proud of this jury for doing the right thing by sticking to the LAW and not (as one put it) "personal feelings" about MJ.
OTOH: Ralphie was packing his "Man from U.N.C.L.E." PJ's the other night for a sleep-over at Never-Land & I grounded his butt for a week! NO TV, mister (he's nuts for Tim Russert)

Believe it or not, I never thought he was guilty. I've always thought he was a great man and although a little querky a hell of a guy.
I also think he's dead..
Oh wait a minute that's Stonewall Jackson I'm thinking about.

Juror #1 was interviewed on TV tonight. He said when they walked into the jury room 6 of the 10 thought he was guilty, until, they went through the testimony of the young boy. They went through each question and he answered over 50% of the questions untruthful. That is when they all changed their vote. He was the one who lost their case. The mother has no one else to blame except her and her son. You also can't expect winking and snapping of fingers will help your case.
