I never stated who this person was who won this auction.
No, but you did state:
1) the auction ending date
2) the total due
3) the bidders feedback
4) the date the bidder signed up with eBay
5) the total $ amount of bids made by this bidder
so he's not that hard to find- if I can do it, most anybody can. Is the individual that Glenda described not the bidder in question?

For the first time in recorded history, I actually agree 100% with Amy!
Next thing ya know, I'll be putting Shrillpoint logos in my auctions...nah!

I am sorry that you choose to try to put a person's honesty at question because she does not conform to what you might like.

For some reason, I am reminded of the old saying: "Never try to teach calculus to a horse. It wastes your time and merely annoys the horse."

By the way, I've said this before but it bears repeating:
If you receive a payment that doesn't identify the auction, you can email [email protected] (or use the select-support form; or if you're a Power Seller, email them) with the person's real name, and they will tell you their user id. You'll usually get an answer in about 8 hours or so, sometimes much less.

This is a bit off subject, but, IMHO, if you are being charged an $18.00 fee from your bank when someone writes you a bad check, I'd say it's time to find another bank. *shrugging*

I have not disappeared. Everyone (with the exception of just a few) has turned this entire thing around. My *point* was taken out of context and twisted around to make me look like some kind of evil person.
Moderator, I would like this thread locked if possible.

My "Good grief" referred to valerie47's hasty brushing out of her tracks and request to lock the thread, not to the post that immediately preceded it.
What a travesty.

Valerie was not looking for opinions she was looking for people to support her actions. When she didn't get that she became defensive which just supported everyone's opinions of the situation. This final act of deleting the posts really just puts the final nail in it.

magazine guy
you're my kind of seller! I feel exactly as you do re: customer satisfaction. It is really sad to read threads like this and then read and hear "Where are all the bidders?" - "Are your bids down?" etc. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to figure out happy, satisfied customers = more bids and repeat customers. Unhappy, dissatisfied customers = one less ebay buyer. When folks shop in the real world and they are dissatisfied with an establishment they don't return and they tell their friends and families not to shop there either.
So - happy, satisfied customers are a benefit for ebay as a whole and all sellers.

Teresa - Valerie said some things she doesn't want her customer to hear. After another poster invited him to the party, she deleted them.
An argument for anonymity on the boards if I've ever heard one.

I am the originator of this thread. I deleted my posts because certain people on this board did nothing but attack me and twist the entire situation around and to make me look bad. (Like they do in so many other threads). They know who they are.

If people here attacked you, what good does it do to delete your own posts. Now people can't judge the situation at all.
And I suppose it is a coincidince that you started your deletion blitz within minutes of my notification that the bidder had been invited...
