I sometimes include a bonus with my packages too, especially when someone buys a childrens item. I know that when I get a package in the mail, my 4 year old gets really excited and can't wait to see what is in the box sometimes only to be let down because it is usually something for him to wear and he doesn't get to excited about that. Usually I include a book, small toy, etc. Yesterday, I received a package from a seller that sold me the cutest little indian costume. I couldn't wait to get it because I knew my little boy (who loves to dress up like a cowboy) would just flip out over it. When I opened the box, to my surprise, she had included a cowboy outfit also. It was just as adorable as the indian outfit! I couldn't believe that she had included something so significant! Not to say that small items are not appreciated! I was just so shocked knowing that it was something that she could have sold for $$ and it is the first time anyone had ever put a freebie in with something I had bought. I mean these little outfits were just so cute and with lots of detail. I emailed her to thank her for her thoughtfulness and generosity but that I felt like I had cheated her. She emailed me back and said that when I told her previously that my son loved cowboys she thought she would throw in the cowboy outfit too and that she was thrilled with the price she had gotten for the indian one and that I should not feel like I had cheated her. I was having a really bad day and the thoughtfulness couldn't have come at a better time! It realy made me smile!! What a sweet, kind, thoughtful person she and all of you are!! You may never REALLY know the impact you have made on someone!

I bought a T-shirt from a dealer that sells Serial Killers memorabilia, and gor a personal thank you note, along with a Ed Gein pin-button. I went ahead an left feedback.
The downside is that I never received any return feedback, I even PayPaled the same day the auction ended, before I got his EOA email.
Darn.

I agree, it would have been GREAT if feedback had been left- but, PLEASE realize it is YOUR kindness and thoughtfulness that COUNTS!! We are only responsible for our actions, and, I do believe they can change the ways of others (she says, through rose colored glasses??) Yeah, I reckon I do think that good will overcome! We sometimes just get disgusted, slack off on our kindness, and pretty soon we are like the 'rest' instead of visa/versa!! I shall keep my chinS up; and you do the same...(well, you can probably just keep your ChiN up!!) BTW- I agree about the scents...I have a chemical/smoke allergy too! mizscarlett1-here; eBay; and everywhere!

When I first started on eBay I included little bonuses with my shipments. I certainly built my feedback up fast.
I am gradually liquidating my inventory so I plan to include some bonuses to bidders that pay promptly.
I don't have enough freebies for everyone, but I feel that those who pay quickly deserve a little reward.
