The insurgents are both people that have come from other nations to fight the US and formerly everyday normal Iraqi citizens that have seen their home, business and country destroyed by our invasion. Is it really so hard to comprehend that turning an ancient beautiful history laden country into a rubble pile might just result in a murderous rage against among some of their citizens?
If another country invaded the US and made no plans to leave, would you call those that rose up against them "Terrorists"?

Linda_k, I've said before I will speak in my own words if I choose to comment on anything here. I'm not talking for you or telling others what you're thinking so please refrain from doing so with me because it only makes you look ignorant.
My point is that there are terrorists of different kinds all over the world and terrorism is nothing new. I believe that many of the groups will join together in solidarity to try to destroy the US, England, Canada as well as other countries and have been working within those countries for ages already.
As well as paying attention to threats around the world, each government should be paying more attention to what is happening right within its own borders instead of needlessly running out and invading countries as was done with Iraq.
