But etexbill again!!!!!!!!
What about these countries that are ranked ahead of the U.S. on the health issue.
France, Italy, Singapore, Spain, Oman, Austria, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Monaco, Greece, Iceland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, England, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, Columbia, Sweden, Cyprus, German, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Morocco, Canada, Finland, Australia, Chile, Denmark, Dominica, Costa Rica.
Your remarks show how people of your mindset don't understand the advances other countries in this World have made.
If the Great State of Texas managed their affairs as well as their college's play football. The Great State of Texas would be number 1 in the Nation. Notice I said college football not Pro.

etex: Maybe I do have the wrong city, but I could have sworn it was Tyler...or right outside there somewhere? I was following this story about this preacher who was doing a pyramid scheme thing (it was a some time ago, but if I remember right his name was Al Petty?) Anyway, thought for sure he was over there in Tyler...But I could have made a mistake on that....

Hey, I googled for Rev. Al Petty and sure enough he was tried in District Court in Tyler for a pyramid scheme, but he lived about 20 miles west of Dallas according to the article. That would be approx. 120 miles from Tyler. Funny thing is, I thought I kept up with Tyler happenings, but I never heard of this. I guess it wasn't a big thing in the news here.

Hi Tex. I thought so, because I remember researching it and that was how I came to find out about Tyler at all! (He had some scheme going, that guy! Bilked alot money out of it - and then his secretary or personal assitant or something turned him to the feds.)

dblfugger9. Now this is just interesting. I graduated from high school many moons ago with a guy named Allen Petty. I just looked him up in my year book. As I remember he was a boxer and played guitar and later started a band. This Rev. Petty, would be my age according to the article. Could it be the same guy?? I haven't heard anything of this from my few classmates left in the area. And according to the date of the trial, I was in England at the time. Maybe that is why I hadn't heard of it. Now you have my curiosity aroused. I am going to read up on this.

Omg! Yes, Tex that is him - at least according to what I know. He was a musician before he was a reverend. LOL on the curosity thing. Someone my hubby knew wanted us to get involved in this scheme thing, that is why I looked him up and thats how I found about about tyler. There wasnt a whole lot of info on it at the time, as I remember...but I found the local tv station in tyler covered it. He had alot of people really convinced. They donated money to get him out of jail and still they insisted it was not a pyramid scheme!! Unreal...
But I will tell you, Tex, I like the Texans - really do! Most of my best buyers are from there! (Sometimes I think its tryin to tell me something - go west young girl, go west! lol!!!) My brother went to school at St. Edwards and he had ball there!!
