Good for you. Last time I checked this was a "chat board" and it is not called "THE REVEREND COLIN'S FORUM". Once again it appears if the righties want to censor free speech.
I must have really struck a nerve with you
Not a servant of God, Just one of Gods children.
Everybody is "God's Children". Those that do God's work are his servants.
BTW Coloreds are welcome at the Church of Here & Now.
I bet you stayed up very late one night to think that up. Is that associated with the Church of Now and Later? So how many boxtops did you have to send in to get your "reverend title"? Ah that's right ordination is free at the Universal Life Church. Anyone can sign up and become an ordained minister.
Why are you and missyturd using men's names on this board? Do you think you'll be taken more seriously? The smart women on this boards are taken serious,
Are you trying to say "Colin" is a woman's name, now? Do you think you will be taken more seriously by promoting your website in your signature line? Are you going to send God's wrath upon me now? The Almighty powerful reverend Colin head of the Church of Hear and Now More like another Hippy Reject from the 60's.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

The duty of a patriot in this time and place is to ask questions, to demand answers, to understand where our nation is headed and why. If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'

Hey Classic - that pizza joint was Buzzy's pizza - I used to go there when I was a kid - they closed years ago. I grew up in downtown Annapolis - about 1 block from the dock area.
I know the Naval Station you're referring to, my husband was active Navy for 8 years - then somehow ended up in the Army reserves. I live on the other side of the Bay Bridge now - about 20 minutes past there.
As for Helen - your comment: Yes, if they are always bragging about their genius IQ and their neighbors they are really dumb and insecure.
I wouldn't say mentioning each of the above one time is always bragging - particularly about who my neighbors are - I just thought it interesting that so many DC politicians, etc. were moving to this area.
What makes you so nasty? There was nothing nasty or political or any such thing in this thread - you guys must have a real chip on your shoulders to read that much into this.
Who says we have money anyway? Just because someone lives nearby means nothing - but if you are interested in my economic status, my husband and I have both worked quite hard to get where we are, and I am proud of that we've done OK. It may not be the best of the best of everything, but we do just fine. Thanks for caring!

Caroline-it is indeed a small world. Its been 40 years since I've been there,so I dont remember a lot about Annapolis.I do remember main st was a slight hill and at the top of the hill was a big circular building.I assumed that might have been the Capitol building? Where was your hubby stationed?

Caroline, Where exactly did I mention your financial status or money? I have absolutely no interest in your IQ or your "money" or any of the other personal data that you have provided. You seem to have a need to post personal information when it is not solicited. That's your prerogative but don't infer that I led you to do so.
The truth is that I did not mention or even consider your "money" or financial situation. You are especially defensive and my question is over what?
It's my opinion that if you consider the people in this thread "nasty" you are much too sensitive to post anywhere on the RT. We did discuss the status of a small town that you mentioned. If that town's proximity to you is your reason for being offended do you think that I should be offended also since it's not too far from me?
So, without reason, you continue to defend your financial status, your IQ, your employment and your husband's employment along with other personal information. You post a thread and then leave for a few days and return to accuse me of having an interest in your "money" and then post more personal information....good lord, when do you stop?
In contrast, I've been here for four years and during that time, I've never mentioned my financial situation or my husband's employment history, or my employment history. And, I don't care whether anyone thinks I'm rich or poor. My question is why do you care?

Hey helen....do the words: pot..kettle...black ring a bell to you?
It's okay for YOU not to answer questions put to you.....but oh-so-different when you want an answer. How funny. Thanks for my first laugh of the morning.

Classic - husband was on a ship most of his time in the Navy - I believe it was Connie? Constellation/Constitution?, and also spent time in San Diego. This was long before I met him, we've only been together about 7 years. He retired from the reserves last year. I think he secretly misses it. I lived about 1 block from the state building. The one at the top of Main St was St. Anne's church where I was baptized. It was a lovely town in the old days.
Helen: I do provide personal information when I feel it is warranted when you fling insults such as calling me stupid, or something equally as infantile, to which I responded with the appropriate fact.
No, certainly not too sensitive - just wondering why you are so negative and mad at the world.

Try some Prozac Helen, it may help. Over and out and off to paint trim and lay tile. Fun Fun for a Monday. Happy Halloween!

Maybe the problem is that you've been taking, as you described in another thread. "lots and lots and lots and lots of valium" again. I've read that too much valium can cause mental confusion.
I'm drug free, Caroline and plan to stay that way so don't try to prescribe your crap to me.
You are wrong again...I did not call you stupid. You should know by now that I don't like to have my posts mischaracterized. I'll give you a little tip. If you don't have a link to the quotation, don't use it.
You said, in this thread.
"So, Helen - the President should have been rescuing people from flood waters. Please - get a grip."
I replied to that nonsense with more nonsense and said, "It's my opinion that you need to get a brain."
It's not true that I called you stupid. Stupid is a word that I very seldom use. Ignorant is generally a better description of someone who is uninformed.

The "Connie" was the Constellation. It was decommissioned a couple years ago and replaced with the "Ronnie" - USS Ronald Reagan.
