What I don't understand are these buyers/sellers who ask for positive feedback and promise to do the same for you, the thing is you have to do it first. I've had 5 in the past year, after I post a positive feedback
they do not do the same for me? What is up
with that?

I have a situation going on right now that makes me wonder about my practice of always leaving feedback when I ship an item. Have a buyer who claims that my package has arrived and it was not insured even though he paid insurance. May have been an oversight on our part BUT....he tells me that he has been to the post office and found out that total postage on the package was $3.90. Can't be!! And he has 19 negs this month (33 total)for just this sort of thing. Total feedback over 600. Oh and now he claims the item was broken even though we have not had anything broken in 14 months and we ship delicate glass and porcelain all the time.

If I don't cough up a refund he will surely neg me. He may do so anyway. And I now have no recourse. I've already left postive feedback because payment was timely.

Still have one ace up my sleeve though--I mark my glassware invisibly and if the item he returns doesn't have my mark on it, I can always prove that he is scamming me.

Would anyone else ask safeharbor to investigate this character?? The pattern is very clear in his feedback.

What puzzles me about a statement you made. He had to go to the post office to find out the mailing price. Couldn't he read it for himself. You didn't say if he paid for insurance or not. There are all kinds of people in this world and isn't to bad we have to protect ourselves like you did. You are one smart seller. I hope you keep us posted on what happens. Good Luck

He claims he requested parcel post shipping now. We don't do that. We do fixed price priority mail plus insurance for all breakables. Also was shipped on 10/19 and he already has it. Very fishy!!

I just asked him to return it so I could verify my mark and the original postage amount on the original package. We will see what happens next. Will try to keep you posted.

Looking at this person's feedback, one person claims that he was NARU'd for this in the past and has re-registered under another name. Buys a lot! Over 900 feedbacks since April of this year. Constantly belly-aching about shipping costs tho.

As expected, he now claims this is a no win situation and told us to keep our money. That UV mark pays for itself again!!
