Bear - I can't stand her because she is one of the worlds worst interviewers.
Listen to her sometime... when she asks a question, she then proceeds to answer it herself.
ex: What was the most interesting part about her trip tpo London? I know when I went with my girls it was visiting the historic sites and the shopping. Right?
What the hell kind of question is that? I guess the advantage is that you can even get DeNiro to give a "good interview" when all you are asking him to do is agree with you. 
And the Am I Gidget or am I Jackie O personality conflict she seems to constantly be battling makes me want to strangle her as well.
As much as you guys give me hell for my negative critiques of Fox News, I think you have forgotten some on my "I hate Katie Curic" tirades.

Hey Mags - now that it has been announced that Rosie is taking over for Meredith in September, wanna make a bet on how much "my husband this, and my husband that's" it takes before Rosie tells Star to shut the hell up, we all know you married a gay man?

But I can't stand Star Jones and it has nothing to do with her color.. I can't stand the chatty young one either, she drives me nuts.. and only luke warm about Barbara... I really like Joy and I am so happy that Rosie is joining the group. The big cover-up about Star's gastric bypass surgery is sure to be brought up.. ha ha.. Rosie has already mentioned that. Did you happen to see the HBO Rosie's Family Cruise? I thought it was wonderful and very touching.
Is Star's husband really gay? I've heard rumors but never paid much attention..didn't she say they remained celibate until the wedding? I wonder if they've consummated it yet?
I bet the ratings will soar with Rosie on board.. I'd like to see both Star and what's her name blondie gone..

Rosie has never been a favorite of mine but The View would be worth watching if she took on Star and I'd love to see it happen. Star has morphed into someone so into herself that she's just a big joke now. Maybe she thinks if she keeps getting thinner and perfects her breasts and fixes her face more that her husband will prefer her to the guys? 
I'm usually not watching much TV in the morning so I only see the show off and on but haven't liked it as much since Lisa Ling left. Elizabeth (blondie) annoys me too and sometimes when she starts one of her spiels it looks to me like Joy really has to bite her tongue from saying more than she already does. Rosie doesn't seem to be the kind of person who can hold back for long so if she adds some life to the show maybe I'll record it each day and watch the highlights later.

And yes, her husband is gay. Maybe that's why she when she went into Bridezilla mode she went about it as if it were a TV prodcution seeking sponsorship and product placement galor.
I have not really watched the View in years but I will probably tune in for the first couple weeks of Rosie to see if the sparks fly. She has openly criticized Star for not coming clean on the gastro bypass and has also not so subtly alluded to her husbands sexual preferences a couple times now.

Star gets on my nerves, always has.... She wants to be Oprah. I don't like Oprah either. But at least I used to at one time.
She'd be a fool not to renew her contract, IF offered. What else can she do? Who else would want her?
I USED to be a big Rosie fan....until she attacked Tom Selleck for being a member of the NRA. And I do mean attacked. She was no longer the "Queen of Nice". I don't think I was the only "fan" she lost that day.
The only person on "The View" worth tolerating the BS is Joy. She should just get her own show, like Ellen. I like Ellen.

NO. Since you have no idea who she is you also have no idea that she has credited losing over 100 lbs in a period of less than as year to pilates classes and "self control"
Rosie was not giving her hell for having the bypass. She was giving her hell for lying to people about it.
As for her alluding to the husbands preference... again. you have to understand what Star Jones became when she got engaged. She was the ULTIMATE bridezilla. It was obnoxious. She hosted one of the Oscar Red Carpet Shows and she managed to bring up her marriage and her husband into every interview she did with nominees. If there was an "Al Drinking Game" people would have alcohol poisoning within 3 minutes any time she got in front of a camera. And the whole time she annoying the hell out of everyone, it's about a lie.

Star Jones Told To Beat It From 'The View'
Star Jones Reynolds has been reportedly told that her services are no longer required. This should come as no real surprise as many speculated that she would be leaving once Rosie O'Donnell was signed to the show.
The New York Post's Page Six has the details: 'ABC will announce this week that the big-boned talking head is out at "The View," a source close to the inner workings of the late-morning gabfest tells Page Six. What network brass won't say is that she's being unceremoniously ousted at the direct behest of the show's grand dame Barbara Walters and the incoming Rosie O'Donnell.
"It was always Rosie's condition of joining the show, and Barbara agreed to those conditions from the outset," our source said. The network and Jones are now concocting a face-saving scenario in which Jones will be touted as moving on to pursue important new projects.
Jones' camp yesterday denied the blustery babbler is going anywhere. "It's 100 percent not true. Where are you hearing this?" a rep for Jones said. A "View" flack echoed that. But those denials come on the heels of reports that Oprah Winfrey's best friend, Gayle King, may be in line to take over Jones' chair on the kitschy coffee klatch.
And while publicly, the show says Jones is "welcome" to remain on "The View" as long as she wants, insiders confirmed late last week that her agents are quietly shopping around for a new job for her.
There's been bad blood on the set, particularly with co-host Joy Behar. Star was secretly dubbed "Bridezilla" two years ago after she took untold freebies from wedding suppliers in exchange for plugs on the show.
And she threw a hissy fit when ABC suits banned her from plugging Payless shoes, which paid for her endorsement. Recently, Jones enraged Walters and her crew by bragging about her dramatic weight loss while refusing to confirm that she'd undergone gastic bypass surgery to achieve it.'

Fenix-I watched the "view" for the first time this morning.They had a female actress on as a guest who I have never heard of.So here is the scene-4 woman sitting at a table yapping their jaws away.The main problem was about 90 pecent of the time they were all talking at once.I couldnt understand what anyone was saying.They were ALL VERY ANNOYING to me.I had to change the channel after 5 minutes, I couldnt take it anymore.Having a program with 4 women talking around a table is a very bad idea.First of all 90 percent of all the women in this world dont have a clue of whats going on in this planet.
Then you have 4 of these lame brain a-holes talking about absouletly nothing is exremely painfull-it was the tv program from HELL.

Classic - LOL!!
The first woman on the left that was Meridith Viera - she is the one that is leaving to do the Today show. She used to be a 20/20 reporter a long time ago but quit because they wanted her to travel too much and she wanted to be ohome with the kids.
The black woman next to her is Star Jones. She is a former New York prosecutor that made a name for herself during the OJ trial and has since gone on to prove to just what extent power and popularity can currupt.
Next is Joy Behar - Italian stand up comedian and the only woman on the show I actually enjoy.
The perky pipsqueek on the other end is Elizabeth Hasselbeck. She is the wife of Giants QB Tim Hasselbeck.
I used to like Star at one point but she became a monster, Meredith has always gotten on my nerves, Elizabeth is too damn perky for my taste. The sarcastic Joy is the only one I really like. Barbara Walters is great when she is on too. Much more relaxed and "real" than on the evening programs. She is also really good at limiting the girls to just two speaking at once rather than all four.

Well Star wasnt any more annoying then the rest of them.How did she come to fame during the O.J.Trial? I never heard of her.The most annoying was Elizabeth-you mean shes actually married to someone?? I cant stand that high pitched voice.She sounds like the roadrunner on speed.

Star was an "expert" commentor type during the William Kennedy Smith trial which got her the gig as a legal expert for NBC. During his civil trial, she was the only person he granted an interview with.
