Think this is just a problem for book or music sellers? I think we all should write Ebay. I called, was told as long as it isn't on my auction, I shouldn't complain.
I have had some down time (illness), so have been checking the Ebay-Half.Com links. I don't believe that a search on Ebay should bring up Half at all. I give accurate
descriptions, table of contents (sometimes), paragraphs & photos (including back, inside, cover page, etc). I don't want to spend an afternoon creating an auction so I can sell for someone else.. On Ebay..other auctions are competition! Linking to Half's auctions...a screw job! IMHO.

do a thorough search of all 178! And the long yellow rectangle to Half was there helping the
painting & Kachina sellers out!

Hi CAgrrl,
I am getting over a no-pic Ebay auction...a 70 year old book that I have always wanted. It was listed as in "good, solid condition", and the seller had over 500 FBs, no negs. There was no picture but sometimes you can't tell what the book is like anymore so many are fuzzy. I took a chance...got it in a Hefty bag box, send diagonally to fit and wrapped in newspaper. It had alot of handwriting in it, store receipts and reddish bug droppings or something where the pages were folded down. Yuk. I haven't purchased anything this month...and never will without a picture again. And never without a reaaallly decent description! Half doesn't have them, at least not the ones I saw. LabRat4

I hear ya loud & clear! It's always a gamble... sometimes even WITH a pic & a good description there are unpleasant surprises...but that was my biggest beef against half.com from day 1- no pics, sometimes not even a photo of the cover, and no descriptions. Makes it easy on the seller, but certainly not on the buyer.
