A while back I shipped to an address on Easy Street. Just recently I shipped to a customer on Poverty Lane (which in real life is lined with mansions).
I hope this isn't a sign of some sort!
Any other funny addresses you shipped too? I could use a chuckle about now...it's been a bit slow.

Could you tell me where Audit Avenue intersects with Poverty Lane?
I've had some weird ones. I think my favorite was Whisling Weasel Court. Second, for bizarre, was Pitty Pat Lane. I'd be embarrased to tell anyone where I lived. Maybe these people keep the post office in the business of PO boxes!

Item I paid for was addressed to person with SAME NAME as Street Address...Cannot mention name here, but as an example: Mr. Danzig....114 Danzig St...Anywhere, USA...Looks like street was named for a founding ancestor.

I could come up with some, though...
Yellow Brick Road
Kangaroo Court
Memory Lane
I DID have a weird email address for one of my high bidders, it was kinda scary...I won't put all of it in here but it went something like this: satansodomy---hell666--- it creeped me out, I think he ended up being from New Jersey...I wonder if my antivirus software can do exorcisms. He didn't buy anything strange, just a collectible...

There is a tiny little town near me that has a street with 5 houses on it that is called Pig Pen Hollow. It sure fits, this is the kind of "neighborhood" where each house has 10 cars up on blocks in the yard and towers of trash everywhere. Now that would be something I would hate to use as a return address.

I'd love a street address like any of those! It would be so much fun to live at 113 Howling Hollow Road or 3920 Tadpole Drive. Somehow I always end up with boring street addresses like "NW 8th Street," blah.
I bought one of my first eBay purchases from a town called Little Egg Harbor, NJ, which I thought was such a cute name for a town!

My subdivision recently expanded... One of the new streets is Bay Court. Or, more specifically, E. Bay Court
How'd you like to live there as a seller? "Send your payment to eBay Court."

In NH there is a Spit Brook Road and a Spit Pond Road.
I live off of Burnt Tavern Road and we have an Easy Street about 1/2 mile down. Also in my area is a Loveladies section.

I know a woman whose families had a road going between their farms named after them. Her maiden name was one name, her married was another, the road she lives on is maiden-married road.
When I was growing up, I used to live on "Thunder Hill" road.
And on the St John street thing, that's my grandmother's maiden name.
Has anyone had to send anything to Intercourse, PA?

Gore Orphanage Rd in Ohio is a creepy street to send something to. Also has a creepy history attached to it.
My grandparents, whose last name is McDonald used to live on Fries Avenue. Used to get a lot of crank calls.

SHOSH~ due to changes in 911 emergency response requirememnts there has been lots of legislation for *un-named* private roads to be named to decrease the response time for victims. Most states required this to be finished in 1999.
Alot of folks wanting to honor their ancestors or having no imagination beyond their family name, named the private roads after themselves.

We have a road where the majority of businesses are car dealerships ... Saturn, Pontiac, Honda, and several others.
The name of the road is Test Drive!
I did a double-take the first time I saw it. he he
We also have an "East and West Road", a "W Road" which is a steep road winding down the side of a mountain, and there's even a road a few miles from my house that's the same as my last name ... which is really weird because my last name is unusual, and my husband and I are the only people with this name in the whole city. (???)
(Was that a run-on sentence, or what? )

Well, we were almost the Berry family on BriarBerry street, until we found a better house a few streets over.. thank goodness! I did date a guy in high school who lived on Blueberry Hill, and yes, he used to sing the song all the time, insisting I would "find my thrill" if I'd just be more agreeable. <snort>

There is a Pole Cat road near me, beautiful houses there too. I never mailed to Intercourse, PA, but live about 10 miles from there. Near Intercourse is Blue Ball, both towns have a large Amish population.
The place mentioned on this thread "Pity Pat Lane" is my favorite. Two uninviting places I've mailed to are Flat Swamp Road, NC & Sulphul Well Road, KY. Probably nice places too. I once lived in a town called Climax, high in the mountains in CO near Leadville.
