don't worry your little mind with where I'm posting or where I choose to post.....it's not ANY of your business helen.

But...being a bossy, control liberal I understand disruption of threads doesn't bother you WHEN you're the one disrupting them.

And why would YOU care whether I respond to someone I've NEVER had a conversation with - never seen a post he made?

What is so important to you I go there and respond?

Why don't you....since it seems you're the one getting so excited over 'charlies' posts.

I'm sure helen there are millions of posters all over the internet that would also excite you this much. He has to be anti-Americas best interests to get your favorable endorcement.

Hey Liar_K beast,

Does America save face now and blame all of Iraq's Problems on Iraq. Should we start pulling out our troops now or would you rather wait months longer to pull out with several hundred more dead American troops?

Poll Finds Americans More Pessimistic on Iraq

Reuters
WASHINGTON (Nov. 12) - As President Bush weighs options for changing course in Iraq , Americans are more pessimistic on the war and most support a quick withdrawal of U.S. troops, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup poll.

More than half of the respondents, or 55 percent, want most U.S. troops withdrawn within a year, but only 18 percent believe that will happen, USA Today reported on Tuesday.

The telephone poll of more than 1,000 adults was conducted after the bipartisan Iraq Study Group unveiled 79 recommendations for changing course in the unpopular war.

Bush is focusing on how to change strategy in Iraq after his Republican colleagues were swept from power in Congress last month largely because of anger about the war in Iraq. He is expected to announce a shift in course early next year.

His job approval rating hovered near a record low of 36 percent, according to a separate poll by ABC News and The Washington Post. His lowest point was 33 percent in May in the poll.

Seven in 10 disapproved of his handling of Iraq and 61 percent said the war was not worth fighting, it said.

In the USA Today/Gallup survey, three out of four of those polled said they supported the three major recommendations made by the Iraq Study Group: direct talks with Iran and Syria, withdrawing most U.S. combat troops by March 2008, and a new push aimed at resolving the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Bush has rejected the troop withdrawal timetable and direct talks with Iran and Syria. He has not ruled out a regional conference involving Iran and Syria, but the White House indicated Iraq would have to set it up.

In a question asked of half the adults surveyed by USA Today/Gallup, a record high 62 percent said the war in Iraq wasn't "worth it," and a record low 16 percent said the United States was winning. That is less than half the 40 percent who held that view a year ago, the newspaper said.

The USA Today poll of 1,009 adults was taken December 8 and Sunday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points for the full sample. The ABC News and Washington Post poll surveyed 1,005 adults between December 7 and Monday and has a 3-point margin of error.

Twin Baghdad Blasts Target Day Laborers
Iraqi Government Blames Sunni Extremists, Saddam Supporters
By KIM GAMEL, AP

BAGHDAD, Iraq (Dec. 12) - A suicide bomber struck a crowd of mostly poor Shiites in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 63 people and wounding more than 200 after luring construction workers onto a pickup truck by offering them jobs as they were eating breakfast.

The blast, condemned by both Shiite and Sunni lawmakers, came on a day that saw the U.S. military report the deaths of five more troops. At least 59 other Iraqis were also killed or found dead, including an AP Television News cameraman who was shot while covering clashes in the northern city of Mosul.

The Baghdad suicide attack shattered storefront windows, dug craters in the road and set fire to several cars. People rushed to the devastated area to see if friends or relatives were killed or wounded. Mangled bodies were piled up at the side of the road and partially covered with paper. Two men sat on the sidewalk, crying and covering their faces with their hands.

And the question is STILL on the table....after all these MONTHS....unanswered by ANY anti-war; pull out now; pull out in a phased way LIBERAL/DEM/socialist/and those further left.....

so....once we pull out of Iraq...as YOU insist we do....WHAT THEN?

Will that protect us from their publically stated GOALS....to destroy us????

What will the dems do about Iran working to get nuclear WEAPONS? Nothing???? Will they suggest more TALKS with Iran as the EO has been doing for what....two years now?? To no avail?

What will the dems do about North Korea? Start financially helping them so they can FURTHER their nuclear weapons program?

I haven't seen ANY answers from the left on ANY of our MOST serious foreign policies hot issues.

Nope...they spent the entire time bashing Bush....but giving NO solutions of their own to these problems.

So...we pull out of Iraq....the terrorists see that as a VICTORY FOR THEM....and these liberals are happy....WHY exactly????

BECAUSE the terrorist WON??

Saudi's Give A Grim 'What IF' Should The US Pull Out of Iraq

The Saudis have argued strenuously against an American pullout from Iraq, citing fears that Iraq's minority Sunni Arab population would be massacred.

Those fears, United States officials said, have become more pronounced as a growing chorus in Washington has advocated a draw-down of American troops in Iraq, coupled with diplomatic outreach to Iran, which is largely Shiite.

"It's a hypothetical situation, and we'd work hard to avoid such a structure," one Arab diplomat in Washington said.

But, he added, "If things become so bad in Iraq, like an ethnic cleansing, we will feel we are pulled into the war."

============

Yep....slaughtering ....just like the anti-war protestors caused to happen in the VN conflict.

The communists couldn't kill enough of them when the US pulled out of VN and 'left them to defend themselves'.

This will ALL be repeated with a US withdrawal in Iraq.

We'll never change her mind, we'll never get through the non-reasoning brain she has. I cannot IMAGINE what it would be like to LIVE near or with her.

When we lived in Las Vegas, we were familiar with the grandpa-babysitting phenomenon. Families would take grandpa, or grandma, down to the bingo parlor in the morning and pick him or her up in the evening. Cheap sitting, cheaper than hiring someone or going through the hassle of dealing with that old person.

I imagine Linda's family parking her in front of the computer at 9 a.m. and letting her come up for air at dinnertime. . . .

If the Islamic fascists double their rate of killing Americans in the next month, there will still be fewer American fatalities in Iraq this year than in the previous two years.

"When is the last American Soldier man or woman to die in Iraq Nam?"

I'm beginning to believe that the REAL reason this President decided against telling America what his plan for Iraq is.....is that he didn't want to upset all the 'pull out of Iraq now' American's.

After all, it would have just RUINED their Christmas holidays had he told them we're STAYING as long as he's President....another couple of years.
..or until the job is done.

I suspect he KNOWS there's going to be some REAL disappointed people when the dems can't FORCE him....better yet WON'T force him to withdraw our troops any time soon.

So you'll hear HIS plans in January.

Bigpeepa, isn't it weird that after all this time the bush cabal STILL doesn't have a PLAN !!!???

They started the war with no plan , continued the war with no plan, and now with 5 years of advice and mistakes they STILL HAVE NO PLAN.

And don't you agree that those neocons in here who keep showing such horrible disrespect for our troops by minimizing their deaths would NEVER have the backbone(yellow-bellied cowards that they are) to walk up to a mother or father or husband or child of a dead or mutilated soldier and say, "Hey, that's not so bad...lots of people get killed in car accidents...get over it".

Think they have the courage ???

Absolutely not...they don't know the meaning of the word.

Rice: U.S. won't talk to Iran, Syria

Dec. 15: Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says she does not want to trade away Lebanese sovereighty to Syria or allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon as a price for peace in Iraq.

MSNBC
By By Glenn Kessler and Robin Wright

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice yesterday rejected a bipartisan panel's recommendation that the United States seek the help of Syria and Iran in Iraq, saying the "compensation" required by any deal might be too high.

She argued that neither country should need incentives to foster stability in Iraq.
"If they have an interest in a stable Iraq, they will do it anyway," Rice said in a wide-ranging interview with Washington Post reporters and editors. She said she did not want to trade away Lebanese sovereignty to Syria or allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon as a price for peace in Iraq.

Rice also said there would be no retreat from the administration's push to promote democracy in the Middle East, a goal that was de-emphasized by the Iraq Study Group in its report last week but that Rice insisted was a "matter of strategic interest."

She reiterated her commitment to pursuing peace between Palestinians and Israelis -- a new effort that President Bush announced in September but that has yielded little so far.

"Get ready. We are going to the Middle East a lot," Rice said.
