onomatopoeia - "THWIP!" , the sound of Spiderman's web shooter, and "SNIKT!" the switchblade-sound of Wolverine's claws locking into place. Or from the TV series Batman, comic book style onomatopoeias such as “WHAM!”, “POW!” and “CRUNCH” appear onscreen during fight scenes.

I tried to use the actual Greek letters, but the board wouldn't let me....came up all question marks I reckon they figured I'ze cussin' again.
