Isn't it a shame, Bigpeepa, all the attention is on buying , shopping, returning gifts, decorations, the most popular toy, reducing stress during the holidays(my FAVORITE,
if you have stress during the holidays... HAHA! you deserve it),
the whining about no snow for Christmas...
and so little time devoted to our troops who are STILL fighting, dying, and being maimed in Iraq
...all for a LIE!
HoHo Ho Merry Christmas , you have no legs...
HoHoHo Merry Christmas...your mother's been killed in Iraq...
HoHOHo Merry Christmas HALLIBURTON you've made billions off the backs of our troops....
Ya, but did you get the sweater you've always wanted for Christmas?? Did you fight the good fight to get a playstation???
Well, then, Merry Christmas!

mingotree,
Have a good Christmas mingotree.
For me its hard to be Merry thinking of our fine young American Troops over in that HELL HOLE Bushy and his GANG created.
Its hard for me to celebrate the birth of Jesus when God let a man like Bush become President. I will say all the prayers,I will get through the Christmas dinner,I will go through all the motions but its hard.
I just can't stop thinking about all those empty chairs, all the empty broken hearts, and all the broken bodies across America.
YOUNG HONEST MEN AND WOMEN FIGHT CROOKED OLD MENS WARS. IRAQ IS A CRIME!!!!

Liar_k, SAID THIS,posted on November 13, 2006 11:47:52 AM

"Yep, increase in violence has ALWAYS occurred right before elections...theirs and ours."
"Just like in VN they KNOW they can't win with their 'military'...but they CAN win by influencing Americans and making them SICK of the loss of our treasure."
Liar_k said that just after our elections November 7th that the spike in violence in Iraq was to influence our elections!
To-day on December 30th,December has become the deadliest month of 2006 for our very brave but BATTERED AND TIRED Troops in Iraq.
Almost everything Liar_k has said in the last couple months has turned out to be untrue. She has finally burnt herself out and her views and words are now outdated and wrong. It happens to Liars every time.

A caution from Juan Cole not to forget the number of seriously wounded.
And why ignore the seriously wounded? These brave warriors have brain damage, or spinal damage, or have lost limbs or been burned and disfigured. There are probably 8000 of them. Their sacrifice should be foregrounded. Life is not going to be easy for them, and they are not goiing to get that much help from Bush.
Indeed, why not count all the wounded? The number must be near 25000 by now.
Then there are all the Iraq Vets with post traumatic stress disorder and a myriad of other combat related mental diseases. There is alcoholism, domestic violence, divorce.
The true number of Americans and US allies who are in some sense casualties of war is in the tens of thousands.
3000 is a horrible number. But it is not the only dreadful number. By concentrating on it, Washington politicians and the US press hide from us the true magnitude of the problems we face in Iraq and Afghanistan.

How true, Helen! The wounded will be among us for a long time. So many voters living today weren't old enough to witness the after-effects of the Vietnam war--and one of the major ones was our military men, even the "unwounded" ones, coming back to the U.S. with a drug habit.
Our veterans' hospitals will be spending lots more taxpayers' money treating the wounded from this war than they would have, had there been no war.
So the results of war can also be seen as an empty money-pot for all the big problems we have in our own country.
I don't resent our treating the war-wounded with everything we can do for them, but I think it's good to point out that our money-pot is limited, and what we give to one group takes away from another.
I'd like to see pie charts in coming years showing increases and decreases in federal spending due to this ill-conceived war.

gosh I don't know about anyone else but the liberal ladies here have almost convinced me we should just get rid of our Armed Forces totally. LOL
After all, someone might get hurt. And that should NEVER happen in a war. tsk tsk tsk
And as they've proven time and time again....we just cannot allow our young men and women to VOLUNTEER to serve our Nation. Nope....must do everything we can to prevent that horror from EVER occurring.
We'll talk our enemies out of their plans to destroy us. Out of their plans to 'wipe Israel off the face of the earth'. And same with NK...heck we bribed them before and while that didn't work....let's try it again...with them and Iran.
Send these liberal ladies over to Afghanistan and Iraq as our embassators - they'll have these terrorists putting oil on their feet in not time flat.
Hard to do when one is headless...but I have no doubt THEY can do the impossible.
LOL LOL LOL
"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"
"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."

Helen and roadsmith,
We all know Liar_K has been wrong in about 90% of the hundreds of posts she has made trying to defend her looser Bushy's invasion of Iraq.
Remember how funny her Iraq Good News posts were?
Questions Liar_k, where is the good news now about Iraq after 3,000 fine Americans have been killed in Bushy's invasion of Iraq?
Where is the good news after over 10,000 fine Americans have been seriously wounded in Bushy's invasion of Iraq?
Where is the good news after 354 Billion American Dollars have been thrown down the tubes in Bushy's invasion of Iraq?
When will the hearings begin about Bushy's crimes before or after he leaves office?
Come on Liar_K, flop splash some more of your bull roar I'm feeling very bad tonight about those 3,000 fine American Troops that Bushy ordered to their deaths in Iraq.
Tonight at dinner one chair around our table was empty. We said a prayer for the imaginary American solider that could have filled that chair.
Bring on some more of your delusional denial about Bushy's Iraq invasion. I need a good laugh.
