ExecutiveGirl, I don't know how long you have been around Auctionwatch but please understand that in the past few years there have been more than enough "Canadian Bashing" threads that have started here and some have become so ugly that they were locked.

DID YOU KNOW THERE IS A DIFERENCE IN WHAT YOU JUST SAID . There is a difference in the word canada and canadian....canadian is who we are canada is our country ....I would not have a problem as much if someone wrote: Someone from canada wants me to do this. I do have a problem when i hear this : Another Canadian wants me do do this ...it puts us all in the same circle....do you understand???? the difference!!!!

Shaani:

I have seen plenty of boards like that - HOWEVER - this one was certainly NOT a "canadian bashing" board.

The originator even stated she LIKES selling to Canadians. Yeah, really sounds like bashing to me. Geesh!

Aren't we all adults here? No one was bashing, no one was name-calling. Someone took something the "wrong way" in which it wasn't intended. Can't we all just act like grown adults and get along?

I am mainly a seller - what if every single time I saw a "seller-bashing" thread I started whining how you were putting us all "in the same category as that bad seller"?? It's simply rediculous!

My goodness!!

I've had 3 Canadian Customers and 2 asked me to do this. I sent Emails back stating I couldn't because this would be fraud and I don't do business like that. They sent back polite replies and paid in a timely manner.

I did not like being asked to falsify a Customs Form as a favor to someone.

If this thread was about a person in Japan no one would have a problem with it.

Won't happen anyway. Bidders from Japan are the *bestest*! Canadian bidders, OTOH,....

But you just CAN'T help yourself not to comment, right?

What's the old saying you learn in Kindergarten when you don't like what someone else is saying? Ohh.. that's right..... "Just ignore them".

Everyone,

I'm locking this thread. It is unproductive and has become combative.
