Bottom Line:
Any seller or buyer who does not try to resolve a matter in a logical, civil manner is someone I don't want to deal with.

As a buyer and a seller, I have the opinion that buyers are intitled to leave negs to warn others of a "problem seller" as much as sellers' entitlement of warning other sellers. I know I appreciate the warning when I am shopping.
I check out the feedbacks too (and the feedback history left by the seller -vrane.com). When I see a buyer of mine has difficulties with a vindictive seller I make it a point to leave a glowing feedback.
There are "trigger" happy users -both sellers and buyers- that do abuse the feedbacks. Remember the feedback party the book sellers had (but we all know there were non-book sellers too -the old cafe peeps had *backslapping* feedbacks as well).
In my opinion the bottom line is that the customer is always right and as far as I am concern they can do whatever they wish with their feedback for me. I appreciate all the positives I have received (no negs) and if the buyers don't leave any, well my nose isn't bent out of shape..... If I should ever receive a neg well there is always a tomorrow.

Twinsoft. You are absolutely correct. I should have been more articulate. If I make a mistake, I return the bid price and pay for shipping both ways. This is only good business sense in my opinion. The examples I quoted I had shipped multiple items and the other she kept the plate, so I just refunded the money and/or difference because they were keeping everything else.
