eBay Outlook has already become Martha Stewart Living. This is going to make it worse. Why is AW crippling discussion for the sake of a few paraniod individuals?

Gee, I kinda miss the old Wolfpack now. (Whistfully remembering the good old days....)

GOOD HEAVENS (eyes wide open in amazement!)

Go out to lunch and come back to find there is NO MORE MODERATOR'S CORNER.

What in heaven's name happened?

What kind of AW war occured that caused the total destruction of the MOD's corner?

Where do we go to ask questions about moderation?

Ok..will someone PLEASE fill me in? I didn't SEE a mushroom cloud!

Toke, BTW, I'm never nasty. I'm blunt.

Reddeer, if you want a nasty email from me, just ask.

Amy - you now have to email [email protected] , or some such thing. The MC is no mo.

Amy - there was no "doozy". Diana simply made a post on the MC stating that due to the new rules & regs the MC was no longer needed, and shazam, it was history within the hour.

Toke, I'm sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about. If I sent you a nasty email I apologize. But please, take off those angel wings. I have trouble seeing you as a saint.

Reddeer..my active imagination is working OVERTIME.

Why nuke the mod's corner?

Is there any thread explaining this whole thing?

Reddeer, you left out the best part. Remember how you changed your user ID in protest of AW new policy? What a stroke of genius! I think I'll change mine too. LOL!

Twin ..... IMO The nuking of the Mod corner had nothing to do with what took place with todays announcment about auction links being allowed. Nor do I imagine my changing my AW user ID had any affect with the Admin at AW.
Diana most likely has my user ID on the staffroom dartboard.

Reddear, LOL! Actually, the doozy I referred to was that, and the turn-around regarding AW policy. Really, I am so disgusted with this latest turn of events that I am leaving for a forum where real issues can be discussed. Somebody email me the link to Ross' board!

This sweeping under the carpet of user issues spells AW FOR SALE to me.

Toke, you've got a cool handle.

You're right, I'm wrong. I'm bad, oh so bad! I'm flogging myself right now, tho' you can't see it. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! (Let me know when I can stop beating myself up over this.)

If we can't discuss sellers or bidders, does that mean we won't be able to enjoy the sagas of wacko bidders with small wrists and large ears??? How does it affect those posters who want advice on dealing with a bidder for a specific auction? (i.e. how to word a response to a bidder e-mail, etc.)

Without eBay, I might have a real life...

It seems so simple to me...am I missing something???

All we need to do, is discuss our problem...without making it possible to ascertain the other party. Why is that so hard? If we didn't have the brains god gave a gnat...how could we be on eBay in the first place? And that's all it takes...seriously.

I think AW is missing the boat here...why not let people post links for auctions here...for a small fee, of course. Perhaps a monthly charge per user to discuss anything and anyone you want.

Think of it...lucrative and low-maintenance. =)

For those who strongly oppose this new policy, you haven't thought it through very well. We could put up a link right now trashing the seller and it would get locked as soon as the mods caught it. Tell me what would be different when the new policy goes into effect?

Everyone's auctions are viewable to the public so it is open season to discuss your listings (in positive light), and with a link. Many sellers on AW use the same user name as on ebay so little will effect them anyway as we could pull their listings and gather info about them. It's been done extensively already, so nothing has changed in that regard.

I'm glad this change has gone into effect.
