I've been selling as much stuff on yahoo as ebay, probably more stuff, with less weirdos and deadbeats and yahoo doesn't cost as much.

If ePier were to set up an area that was equivalent to Half.com that would be great for them and us! No listing fee and if they had a considerably lower FVF and shipping fee it wouldn't be too difficult to steal Half's clientele. Half's 15% FVFee is excessive and they take a cut of the shipping fee. I'd certainly crosslist everything I have on Half on an ePier equivalent. Twice the chance of selling! How would they set up the middle-tier payment mechanism to match Half? Maybe a deal with PayPal --- God knows they'll need all the help they can get if eBay goes to the Half.com type payment mechanism.
I suggested the same thing to Yahoo last year and they either ignored me or laughed it off. Meanwhile Half.com's Fixed Price marketplace is about to revolutionize eBay!
What ePier needs is buyers and Fixed Price marketplaces tend to lure buyers in! No waiting days and days for auctions to play out.
