To answer the title question.... For a single word, probably L@@K (which is ten times worse than LQQK, which in turn is ten times worse than LOOK, which itself tends to make me do the opposite to start with).
Include all the words of a title, and ALL CAPS TITLES becomes even more annoying than the "L@@K" stuff (I don't see many of the mixed case in eBay). The all-capitals tend to make my eyes skip right over the listing.
In fact, my eyes tend to skip listings that are all caps, or bold, or changed color, or lately, have that image thumbnail that makes the line five times taller. My eyes seem to appreciate order and consistency in index listings that I am trying to scan quickly, and will simply skip over inconsistencies, both for speed and as a general tendency of being suspicious of hype. I don't always completely skip them, because sometimes, I still catch an interesting word; but as a rule, when I'm scanning search results, I value speed and devalue hype enough that supposedly more "prominent" listings become less so for me. But maybe that's just me.

What's being done in the name of direct marketing nowadays is crazy.
The above are all just my opinions, except where I cite facts as such.
Oh, I am not dc9a320 anywhere except AW. Any others are not me.
Is eBay is changing from a world bazaar into a bizarre world?

OK - this isn't in a title -- but my two pet peeves for descriptions are - Sound!! - If I want to listen to music - I'll put on a CD! -- and those letters that follow your mouse like an old advertising airplane tail -- everywhere you move your mouse they follow!! I just click right off -- on to a new page . thanks for letting me vent!!

I giggle when someone describes an item as NEW, but it was made in 1974. I don't like to see poor spelling and punctuation either! I hate ones that only leave a humongo pic and a 2 word description. =) Or the ones that say MINT condition, but needs some work. That about does it.

I must agree with retrod and dancor about (respectively) the comet cursor thingies and bad spelling and grammar. Those are the two things that will make me cringe right before I bust my butt to get OUTTA there!

The term shabby sheik was being used by people who ordinarily use the term shabby chic, but couldn't because the owner of the trademarked name was having auctions closed quickly a couple of months ago.
People began using different cutesy names instead of shabby chic.
