You can put the spin on with the rest of 'them'..
I lived in Sacramento when Rush was a talk show there..and I liked him then...and I would certainly believe what he says before any biased news media or before any point of view on these boards. LOL..[giggle]

IMLDS2, yes you are, just like you are free to ignore the facts, and adjust your "truth" to "the world according to Rush". Ya know, I think you have alot of fear and feelings of helplessness in your life, and I'm sorry for you. I just hope that you prepare yourself in case things don't turn out the way Rush sees things. Then you're going to have to live through 4 years of fear and helplessness. However will you manage?

When Bush was having a snort after a hard day of chasing his kitties everywhere, he and the Elder Bush chatted about the proper form to upchuck at functions on the dignitary's lap. He got it confused. One is supposed to BELCH after a good meal to show one enjoyed it.

Some folks from the media watch dog group Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR)came out in 1995 with a book "The Way Things Aren't: Rush Limbaugh's Reign of Error: Over 100 Outrageously False and Foolish Statements from America's Most Powerful Radio and TV Commentator."
Why bother with fact checking when unquestioning belief without critical thought is so much easier? Isn't Limbaugh a member of that "biased media" too?

IMLDS2, "I lived in Sacramento when Rush was a talk show there..and I liked him then...and I would certainly believe what he says before any biased news media or before any point of view on these boards. LOL..[giggle]"
To clarify...is it your belief that Limbaugh is not a member of the news media, or is it your belief that he is unbiased?
"Hellcat...you are from Gore's home state? Heck, he couldn't even carry his own district-let alone his entire state! LOL.."
Yes, I certainly am from Tennessee. And while you are obviously as poorly informed regarding the voting results in Tennessee as you are regarding the truth of other issues, it was no surprise either to the people of Tennessee, nor to the Gore campaign, that he did not carry this state. Unfortunately, Gore's consistent positions on the protection of the environment, the preservation and strengthing of both civil and women's rights, and the continued separation of church and state do not fit the 'mainstream' of Tennessee, where the (small) majority of sentiment would have us dumping papermill effluence into the Cumberland River, returning to segregation and subjugation of races, voiding a woman's right to choose whether or not to carry a fetus to term, suppressing all opportunity to love another without regard to gender, and the shoving of fundamentalist Christian dogma down the throats, and into the faces of, those who, in accordance with the freedoms guaranteed by both the constitution of the US and the constitution of this state, embrace God in a different view, or do not embrace Him at all. Happily, it is an ever-changing landscape.
"I didn't call anyone names...point any fingers..degrade individuals...and a lot more that those posing as dems did to me in that thread. "
It would appear that the only person who has not read your comments in that thread is...you. In all fairness, you did make one comment in that thread with which I fully agree. You said, "I'm MAD...".
Yes...you are.
Hey Franny! Toss me a marshmallow, would ya?
