Well, I have been a long time lurker so I thought I would give my first and last post today. Hopefully I don't need a CC to lurk
You guys have been a hoot and I have learned a lot. And the stories have been wonderful.

I'll post my critter one more time too. Her name is Buffy. I got her when she was a year and a half old......she is now 4 1/2 and about 6 lbs........
Its really been fun getting to know all of you even though I wasnt an avid poster. I cannot begin to tell all of you how much I have learned from you........not only about the online auction circuit but life as well.

Happy Halloween! It's kind of ironic that so many people will become ghosts on this board tomorrow. Gone but not forgotten. Of course, most of us will become new entities on the OTWA board!

Out of curiousity I went to check out ottawa.com. It exist, redirects to canada.com and they offer free web mail ending in @canada.com.
For the others looking for where most are moving to, it's at www.otwa.com. Look for the eBay related board there.

Not to rain on any parades, but I tried to register at OTTWA a couple months ago and they wouldn't let me use a free email account? Anyone else having that problem?

Since this was started 24 hours ago, it (much like ebay & AW!!) took off in a differant direction than intended! But what the heck.....a lot of us have had fun....especially eventer and coming up with a NEW clue every so often!
Hats off to the mods (& BEST wishes!).....
Thanks AW for the fun & info (while it lasted).....

Okay, let's try a TREASURE HUNT (assuming kathyg's post has disappeared by the time you reach this point). If you find the item, look hard..there may be a secret code posted in there!
Who can find Dr. Beetle's message on the 3rd page???
And if these get deleted, we still have more treasuring hunting to do! We'll keep treasure hunting until everyone finds a treasure! Or my emailing finger gives out, whichever comes first.
