if you close your bank account ,check which you wrote will just bounce, bounce, bounce!!!!!!
if you are a long standing customer with the bank, your personal banker could accept the check and ask you to deposit the fund to cover the check.

paypaldamon,
Off topic, but I think you might be following this thread and if so I have been trying to contact you).
I emailed you awhile back and never got a response regarding a chargeback. I'll give you the short version of what happened to me here. Customer wins auction and sends payment. I mail item (no DC when I mailed the first item). Customer said she didn't
get it and was filing chargeback. I resent the item (I had multiples), this time with DC. She recieved-- we both left feedback. She never cancelled the investigation and I was not aware there was an investigation (I though she was all talk) because you had my old email as my main email (have changed this now). You took $ out of my account. I sent email to paypal with the Dc number and they emailed my customer asking her to return my money. No money. I have also asked her numerous times, but she is unwilling. I would like my money back. It was a small amount ($4.84), but with the trouble she caused I don't feel like she should get the item and my money.
Hope you can help.

Hi ashlandtrader,
I don't see a chargeback/Buyer Complaint against the account (based on the email alias you provided). Can you please point me to a transaction number (via email) so I can look at it?
