Ever heard "nothing in life is easy"? I do believe that goes for 99.9% of the world.

I revised my listings because the World Series is over and obviously nobody will be looking for "tickets" now.

Frankly, I'd like to know who coined the phrase "keyword spamming". Spamming is sending unsolicited junk mail. Putting an extra keyword in your heading is just fine as far as i'm concerned and I still fail to see the point of those who say that it is "defrauding" bidders. Where is the fraud? It's Marketing 101: Exposing your merchandise to as many potential customers as possible.

Kind of like when you see an ad that says "SEXY GIRLS", only to read further and it is actually just an ad for a car dealership. But the heading sure got your attention.

Everyone keeps suggesting that I find a different venue. I have another venue, my web site: www.contraction.com. However, I am not going to stop using Ebay simply because Ebay is screwed up. That makes no sense and anyone who suggests it is an idiot. The simple position I have is that Ebay is operated in a tyrannical manner at times and I don't like it. That's my opinion. I'm sure there are members of the Ebay Nation who believe Ebay is a God who can do no wrong, just as there are members of society who believe that their favorite pro athletes, actors or politicians can simply do no wrong. Don't criticize me because I'm not a sheep that goes along with everything Ebay says. When Ebay says jump, I don't say "how high", I say "You jump, moron."

One other thing I HATE about Ebay: They do not list or provide any address or telephone numbers, so anyone wishing to contact them is relegated to email. That's what burns me up -- why do they hide in cyberspace. There have been many instances where I would like to have called them to discuss something, but have been unable to do so. Then when you email them, you simply get a cowardly, passive response from some underling who doesn't even know what you are talking about.

Another thing I don't like is they will simply cancel your listing without discussing it with you first. Why not notify the person that the listing is questionable and let the person correct or change it? Even a cop gives you a warning ticket sometimes when you are speeding or have a burned out headlight.

My further problem is with billpoint: THese morons keep sending repeated notices saying I am approaching my monthly limit. Then when I apply for a limit increase, they deny it. So basically they are saying that I'm being punished for doing too many sales. How does that work?

And you wonder why I don't like Ebay? See, there is a difference between not liking Ebay and not wanting to use Ebay. Many people don't like the way the U.S. Government operates sometimes, but does that mean they want to move to Russia? Of course not. You simply state your opinion and make a movement to change the things that are wrong.

I think some members of the Ebay Nation need to take their prozac, as well as a nice dose of common sense.

Cheers.

echowood87, try being a buyer on ebay. Do you know what it would be like if every seller was allowed to keyword spam like you wish to do? It would be almost impossible for a buyer to do a decent search for the items they want and they would leave ebay in droves because of the frustration.
