On top of which the seller makes no mention of the HISTORY of this quilt. Was it hand made by LOL's near by and she found it at an estate sale, OR more likely, bought at WalMart and it came from Tiawan and was cheaply made and will not have any value or durability. Think about WHO made a quilt when you bid, or get whatever history you can, up front. Ruthie

At the swap meets,,,,,Many people get REALLY cheap prices on say an entire bedroom set. $1000.00 retail. $200.00 sale at swap. They only have a 2 door Honda. Now,,,how are they going to get this STEAL (.99 cents/electric saw) Home. Shipping of course. Seller yells out HEY Jack! got a customer for you. Great! how far away are you? Only a few miles,,,Well how far,,,Oh? 15. Hmmm, What City? Los Angeles. LOS ANGELES!!!!!! that's 70 miles round trip from here, Few miles my,,,,,,,,,O.k. $70.00...$70.00!!!!!! yeah, gas, time, my labor,,,,maint. and on and on,,,,Cheap. (plus the fact they lied,,,short distance? hoping it's some dummy gonna do it for some lousy $20.00)
Anyway, point is, that seller SAID up front how much Shipping is. Don't like it, don't buy it.
E bay got what they wanted, listing fees and a final value fee on .99 cents. they must be satisfied or they would increase the starting price bids. Say nothing less than $9.99..........
E bay is NOT in the shipping business and in NO way can they Know how much anything is to ship.
These seller have avoided Nothing. They paid e bay what e bay wanted.
They paid for ebays (swapmeet/advertising space) space to sell in, .99 cents. Shipping is the COST of getting it home. That is none of or business of e bays.

Jack...$70.00 for a 70 mile r/t????? Way too cheap. The going rate for most movers is about $85.00 per hr r/t. Tell 'em to call Starving Students for a quote. They'll be happy to pay you $150.00-$200 to deliver it. And they'll still be $600.00 ahead of the game.
