Hi,
I'm new here at Vendio. I thought I would say hello. I tried on the Round Table but it seems I may have entered a hornet's nest over there. Not a friendly group? DrDolittle

Why thank you Ms.Lucy, that is sure friendly of you. I have sold on Ebay for several years using other auction hosts. I've heard good things about Vendio, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Hi,
I think you'll find Vendio is a very good system for your eBay auctions. The image hosting and custom templates are excellent.
I'm not familiar with Post Sale Management but there are several here who use it.
I particularly like being able to prepare auctions ahead of time and then launch whenever I like.
Also, as I mentioned before, there are experts on this board who will help you if you run into a snag.

Lucy, I have to laugh. Sometimes I think you and I are alot alike. I dont use the post sale management either. But do like the templates and ease that comes with the rest of it. Seeing your activity all at once etc.

AND, it IS usually quite a bit more tame up here on 'Ebay Outlook' than the RoundTable {not always, but most of the time- LOL }... I pop in down there at RT once in a great while to see what's goin' on, and it seems to be usually 'go for the juglar' there ... I crawl back up here because I don't have enough time to articulate any passion I might have about the given cause of the day. ...
There are a LOT of nice folks that hang out here ... and yes, I like vendio too, for the easy {easier than thru ebay's offerings} template designs, record keeping, inventory, their 'store' feature {but I don't use their post-sale system either ... I think that is most useful for BIG BULK sellers that list hundreds and hundreds of things at any given time} ............. thanks for peekin' in here, Doc ... hope you drop in often!!!

Welcome Doc. This is a great chat room. There is help out there for almost anything. Lucy, I am like you. I don't use post sale mngmnt. I really like many of the features; the templates, the ability to copy, to save the ability to use html for color & font size. I have used Vendio from when it started as Auction Watch & was FREE!!

I loved Dr Dolittle as a kid, let's face it, talking to the Animals would be a blast. I have an 1100 lb sport horse that tells me a thing or two all the time.
Right now I am listing auctions to assist with his "bottomless pit" feeding program. 
BTW, Roundtable, too tense and a lot of angry ex-ebayers over their stomping for their Shrub.

like your comment aint rich, made me laugh.Welcome aboard doc, great place to be. Like the others I use Vendio but not their post sales management. Like Sanmar been here since it was Auction Watch and free. I am still asking questions and getting the best advise. It just doesn't get better than this.

Hey DrDolittle -- I'm not one much for the RT. I peek from time to time, but won't post there. Too many people with too much time on their hands! Anyway, I use post sale management and can help you with it. I don't use Vendio's checkout though because too many customers didn't like using the extra step. I reconcile all payments from paypal manually and then use the system. It is great for someone like me who lists about 100 auctions a week.

There are great posters here with centuries of experience, Doc. If they ask me if I've taken my meds, the first thing I do is check my daily dose. It IS much more civil on the EO thread.

Welcome to our humble abode!!!
You've got guts being new and jumping into the Round Table first. A person could get seriously killed in there. Although it is rather fun to jump in and ruffle some feathers every once in awhile.

Welcome to the EOL board. It's a whole different board here. The RT was created as a place to socialize and draws a lot of posters who neither buy or sell on Ebay, but only want to troll and insult others. Here's where we all put our heads together and try to figure out how to make a profit selling on Ebay.

LOL Parklane.. without a little pain how would we be able to really appreciate the times without it. So "do that" once in a while just to remind yourself.

Welcome!! There is a wealth of knowledge here that these wonderful people share! I used Vendio a long time ago when it was Auction Watch and was off for awhile. Now I'm back everyone has been very helpful reminding me of the "how to's"!!
I worked in the ER once with a Dr. Dolittle. It was tough not to laugh everytime we called him that!

I have followed this chat section for years now and have learned a great deal. Even the repetitive threads don't hurt anything as usually get a different slant on an old subject.
Sometimes things get negative and a little tense but that is because we don't understand why "they" (Usually Ebay) don't fix the things that are a problem, yet have time to "improve" things that are just fine as is.

Welcome Doc - it's true, you sure can learn a lot here. By the way, what kind of items do you list? Jewelry and antiques are my main listings, along with anything I find at yard sales, estate sales, etc., that I think might make a buck. Hope you stick around!
