Thanks katiyana - I've visited auctionscripts but have decided not to "hang out" there ..too much ebay "byting" going on LOL..just kidding..

I never have had time to visit the Workshops...looks like there's lots of good info there. Here is a link to the transcript of the one last week: http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jsp?forum=93&thread=410266765&modified=1094158043200&ssPageName=CMDV:WC0118

Hi all ... I am loving ebay stores this week ... just started 'em up last Monday, and am having a hard time keeping up with time to list more old unsold auction items in there ... since the first month is free, we're doing especially well ... sold about $300 worth this week from just store listings. .... .. ... . i will have to try the "O" auction site too, IF i get enough time to go over there and study how to do 'em up ...

thank you EVERYone who is contributing worthwhile ideas to these threads ... and I wish all of YOU, 'what goes around comes around' because you're doin' good!!!!

Hi all. I tried asking this question a few days ago on this thread but I guess it got buried. Can anyone tell me how much extra I would be paying in listing fees, if I launched ebay store items through vendio and am using vendio gallery?? Thanks for your time.

kp, I wonder that too. I don't *have* vendio gallery yet, but was thinking about starting that soon. ... I am on the yearly plan with Vendio, but I wonder if my 'images' charge is going to be more if the vendio gallery is utilized. Maybe we should go over the Vendio Services board to ask this question.

Kevinatgrannys said: "I pay about $10 per month for ebay's store and then 3 cents each item (including Gallery Picture)to put stuff in it. ........ If you use your store wisely, putting some low end stuff in and some high end stuff in, and the promote the heck out of your ebay store it will be worth while. (I use Vendio's gallery to help me do that.)"

Kevin? which vendio plan are you on, and if you open a vendio-gallery, does vendio charge extra for those photo-images that are used in your 'ebay store'?

and, if you have a vendio gallery, I know it includes your ebay-store items, but does the gallery itself appear in only your auction style listings, or is it also inserted in your ebay-store listing pages?

(also, what is the average charge to HAVE a vendio-gallery? I think some of you said it's around $10 per month if you have a couple hundred items going ) ..

sorry for so many questions.

KP: the cost of gallery depends on the number of listings per month. There is no way to split out auctions and store items. It is in addition to the Sales Manager and Image hosting fees. I don't use the gallery because of the cost (I run about 350 auctions and have 3800 items in my store). You can click on the pricing tab to see how much additional the gallery would be. I think there is a volume pricing plan in addition to the posted rates but I believe you have to contact Vendio to get a quote.

Estate: I think you have to paste the Vendio coding in your listings so the Vendio gallery could be inserted in store as well as auction listings. I believe the cost is based on the number of listings appearing in the gallery and not the number of places the gallery is running (but I could be wrong on that)

Maybe post below for clarification??

estatestuff: Don't be too sure that the first month is free. That's what they told me and then they invoiced me for it and took it from my account. I have yet to get that back. I closed my eBay sales and the bank account.

I looked at Vendios pricing options, and if one were to run 500 auctions per month with an average selling price of $10, their pricing chart recommends using the Variable Rate Power Plan which would cost $92.45 per month. If you want to use vendio gallery and used their Gallery Gold Plan, you would pay an additional $15.95 per month (a tad over 3 cents each pic), for a monthly total to vendio of $108.40. Am I right that this would be your vendio cost regardless of if these were ebay store or auction items?? And don't forget ebay's slice of the pie....

You are right with the calculations on SALES of $5,000 - Vendio's slice of the pie would be $92.45 regardless of how many listings you run - pricing beyong the $29.95 is SALES based and not number of listings. You can run any number of listings. You probably would get image hosting for free.

I still think Vendio is a good listing, image hosting and post-sale tool and I don't mind paying to use their services.

I use the Variable Power Plan and have 3,800 items in my ebay store and run about 1500 auctions/month.

NEGLUS: I also think that vendio has good services. I just wanted to make sure my numbers were correct. Thanks for your reply. 3800 store items & 1500 auctions per month is impressive. I'm just a part-time seller (architect in the "real"?? world), but enjoy the auction gig and would like to do more volume. I think that I will keep my vendio gallery for now, and see how my costs pan out. Thanks to all for input on this thread.
