I just tried to upload a new auction listing with images with Pro. The sync still got stuck on the image upload. I then uploaded the images directly to the AW website without Pro. Then I was able to sync.
Any news on why this is happening?
My most current auction listing has 3 images. They are:
619pen1.jpg, 619pen2.jpg, 619pen3.jpg
They wouldn't upload using Pro, so I had to upload them directly to Auctionwatch, and then sync. They would download from AW to Pro fine, just not upload.
I've been able to add the 3 images to SMPro and also to upload them. So, the file format is correct, which means that most likely it was an Internet connection problem. Does this happen frequently, or was it a temporary glitch?
Yes this happens frequently. I just tried to upload 2 new images with Pro a few minutes ago. The same error occured. I then uploaded the images directly to the AW site and then synced with Pro, and everything was fine. Pro simply isn't uploading new images for some reason. I'll start to upload directly to AW image hosting without using Pro.
i have been having the same problem with uploading images for about 6 months. sometimes it uploads, sometimes it doesn t. i found that if i get on early in the morning, i can get about 6 photos uploaded at a time, most other times of the day only 1-3 photos. my problems were sent many times to engineering, to no avail. good luck.
In reading this thread, it appears that you are able to upload your images to Sales Manager using your browser and the upload fields, but you are not able to upload the same images using Pro.
If this is the case, it does not seem that the problem would be due to a connectivity issue - can you tell us if you have any other applications running at the time you are synchronizing? Check to see what other applications are open when you synch, and close as many as you can (even virus-checkers.) If this doesn't help, can you tell us how much RAM memory is in your computer, and which version of Windows you are using, as well as which browser/version?

Hello AW......I was trying to upload some pictures and was only able to load one at a time. And this was accomplished only twice. My Cache is empty ,my settings are fine. What is the problem? I keep getting error messages as the other complaintants have been. Please clear the problem up so we all can start making money again.

Hi bobsstuff2,
Are you also uploading from our offline program Sales Manager Pro? If so, what is the error messages you are running into? Is it the same as msru, who was unable to upload any from Pro?
Yes, I can upload just fine with my browser and upload fields, but not with Pro.
I have 224KB of Ram, AMD Duron 1 Ghz. Win 98 SE. Also, I've disabled these apps and still have upload problems. I had a similar problem tonight as bksv99. One image would upload, and another would not.

Hi Christopher,
No, I am not loading offline into Pro. I am uploading directly into the fields at AW site. I have the standard image hosting plan. I have cleared the cache again and checked all of my internet settings. I can launch auctions with pics already downloaded but cannot download new ones. Pic sizes are well within range required. I was able to load one when I first logged on, then kept getting error notice. This notice said the page I was trying to reach was busy or experiencing technical difficulties. It told me to refresh or try back later. Well, nothing worked...lol. Help if you can.

if you remember, i have been saying this exact thing for about 6 months off and on. i have rectified the problem myself. it goes to servers without a doubt. i have eliminated every other possibility.

i have been following this link carefully. it is now 1:15 a.m. eastern time and i have done what i could not do all day, upload images. just to be sure it is not on my end, this afternoon i rebooted my computer, emptied my cache, and closed all other applications; result: could not upload photos with all the advise Chris and Diane gave. In the last 1/2 hour (i ignored all the advise of auctionwatch),without a reboot on the computer, a full cache, and 6 applications running + norton in the backround, no going in and setting or unsetting any synchs, i uploaded 6 photos at a time several times, and have not received one error message. I can do this any and every evening or early morning, but not mid afternoon. If you can tell me why, i will stay when my contract comes around.
