"intentional and flaunting use of a vocabulary not necessary and not conducive to general clarity".

Oh, bull!

You can't convince anyone here that you could detect THAT, sgtmike.

Guys, you're getting off subject. We were discussing the fact that Dubya has a black wife who bleaches her hair. Or something like that.

The investigation report will reveal that the remote control servos were purchased at Heathkit electronics.

Laura Welch intentionally barbequed her boyfriend's legs over mesquite coals to serve at the party where dumbya was a guest. He wasn't hungry so he took his and made jerky for later. Laura was hurt, but no mention of it appears in the report.

I thought we were discussing a premeditated accident.

I received the scoop from a reliable source.

It was determined in the post-accident investigation that a subject, now identified as Bill Clinton, was standing at the intersection engaging in distracting actions.

Reamond: Why are you not equally disturbed (at least you haven't brought it up here) by the sordid case of David Wesley and the part he played in the death of Bobby Phills? Here is a black man who willfully participated in a drag race *on a public thoroughfare* that resulted in the fatal crash of his friend & recklessly endangered every other driver & pedestrian in the vicinity...and who has not faced a single charge in the incident.

edited cuz "of" does not = "by"

Democrats agreeing with Republicans and vice versa! Where will it all end?

In all seriousness, this isn't a democrat vs. republican issue. It's a common sense issue.

Apples are apples. Oranges are oranges.

Trying to compare two incidents as different as the Tate murder case and the Laura Bush traffic accident is ludicrous. It's quite apparent that most posters here understand that. Of course there will always be a few...

Well it's nice to know we can agree on something every once in awhile.
