Is it whacked if it makes you happy, Andrea Yates?

Shame on you, krs!!

I just caught another glimpse of the PIC on page one.
Can anyone tell me what happened to Michael's cheeks?
Did he have his jaw bone removed?
Are there any teeth in there?
How does he eat?
Does any other human being have a face like that?

I am for anything that makes anyone happy, but to spend that much time and money to look like a doll? To me that is just plain odd.

Just because a doctor can alter your appearance to what you think you want should he have some liability in assisting you? I'm sure that they have the medical ability to make someone into a cyclops. While it might be a great gimmick for a professional wrestler wouldn't the doctor be a bit of a criminal in helping him?

My dentist told me of refusing patients that want a tooth removed and replaced with a gold tooth with initials and gems. He added that unfortunately their were other dentists that didn't have any qualms about removing perfectly good teeth in the name of a flashy smile.

As for the little boys .....

Every other sort of sexual activity that three generations ago could not even be mentioned is now fodder for prime time TV. There are only a couple taboos left and I predict that before this generation passes there will be apologists saying that that is how some people are oriented at birth and we should not look down on them. They will want to have legal rights to use virtual reality to satisfy their desires. At least at first....Think it is impossible? Your grandfather thought our world was impossible.
They will point to some obscure remote tribes that practiced such things and say See? It was part of their successful culture.

Well, there are some sick people out there. Not too long ago, there was a doctor here that was arrested for amputating a man's leg per his request to fufill some sexual fetish the man had. He died as a result of infection. The doctor that did it was convicted, but I think his medical license had already been revoked previously for other misdoings. I had no idea that kind of thing existed, but there is a medical term for that kind of fetish. Pretty sick.

You might be right. Your observations on what was shocking being common place are on target. There is no way you could have convinced my great grandfather their would be gay pride parades, but he could have been convinced that man would land on the moon.

Amputating a leg to fulfil a sexual fetish?

I "get" some fetishes, but that one escapes me.

If you have that fetish it being whacked does make you happy.

ummmmmmm, Michael....... what's the reason for having nostrils you can't get a finger into? Heck, probably not even a q-tip!

I thinks he looks a lot like a marionette.

Or a mime.

AKAKKKKKKKKKKKK!

Actually I'm hoping he NEVER reads this....... he is to be pityed. When I think of the lovely little boy he was and what he has done to himself........ it seems close to the unbalanced people who cut themselves. An illness and self-abuse.

I, and probably many of you, laugh and poke fun at Michael and other things not of our world with an element of fear. People who go to such extremes ARE scary.

I think he looks dead!

Why doesn't he have reconstructive surgery? People maimed in accidents or children born with deformities have amazing results with tat kind of surgery. It seems like his nose would be easy to reconstruct.

In, I believe Howard Stern's book, he wrote about meeting Michael Jackson and the room was hot and it was like MJ's nose was melting off his face. Ewww.

That socialite woman is SCARY! Have you seen Joan Rivers lately? She is seriously starting to look just like her!

Also, have you seen Michael Jackson's "children"? I say that because they are blue-eyed blondes with no hint of African-American in them. I have to wonder about that entire situation (and feel very sorry for these poor children).

Back in the '70s, we took a family trip to the shore.

All of a sudden one day while there, my forehead had gone completely white; it had lost all pigment. At the same time I had developed 2 brown patches on either side of the white patch, right above the temples.
Because I don't wear bangs, it looked just awful.

Never sunbathed again after that, and I never go in the sun without sunscreen and a hat. (No biggie. I happen to love hats, even collect and use to sell vintage hats.)

I was lucky and the pigment came back before long. The patches never went away. They have just s-l-o-w-l-y worked their way down the sides of my face. Currently, they are just above my jawline. Since they are not real dark (have seen some that are), normal make-up application covers them.

However, eventually I will look like I have a dirty neck.

So, do you think I will look stupid wearing turtlenecks in 90+ weather? Hmmmm?

I remember when Liberace died they showed a recent photo of him. If he was placed beside Charlie McCarthy you'd have to toss a coin to decide who was more life-like. His face had a mannequin appearance to it that bordered on frightening.

When you've had so many face lifts that you have to wear a turtle neck sweater to hide your naval it is time to back off and accept the fact that the aging process is unavoidable (unless you go to Willoughby.)

Femme,

The loss of pigmentation may be due to a condition known as vitiligo. Michael Jackson reportedly has it. So do a lot of other people (I have a touch of it myself, though mine's fairly inconspicuous). If I'm not mistaken, there are vitiligo support groups, if you're interested.

There are also special types of make-up available to "even out" the appearance of vitiligo (or other skin imperfections). One that I recall reading about is called Dermablend. I'm sure there are others too.

Is it whacked if it makes you happy?

If you are 25 and eat nothing but ice cream for a month, you are bit odd but probably amusing. If you are 75 and eat nothing but ice cream for a month, you have senile dementia and your kids put you away. Where is the line drawn? Who decides what is whacked?

I doubt that there is a person on the face of the earth that will not sell out for something; it may not be money but I think we all have a selling price.

From the link that no one reads posted with the picture above:

"Michael's Vitiligo covers roughly 80% of his body now, therefore he wears very light makeup for coverage.
Yes, there are even some extremely rare photos of Michael that show the splotches of existing brown patches. Even one of his music videos shows the splotches for a short 5 seconds. It is real, not chemically induced.

He has also stated that the condition set in around the time of the "Thriller" album. The following article explains the skin disease and its emotional impact very clearly. PLEASE take the time to read it".

What's with "sell out?" in "I doubt that there is a person on the face of the earth that will not sell out for something; it may not be money but I think we all have a selling price".

Maybe everyone who has elective surgery is a 'sell out'? Sex changes to bone removal to even the length of limbs--all "sell outs"

Maybe the elderly described 'whacko' has no teeth and ice cream is the most comfortable GOOD thing to eat?
