I am a Power Seller on eBay and I have customers that refuse to Pay me because I will not accept PayPal as a Payment Option.
As clearly stated in my Item Description I only accept money orders, personal checks and cashier checks.
How does a seller handle this problem?
Will eBay Help in anyway?....The joke of the Day!

Hi betdays,
Many of the sellers seem to advise the user that they will file an NPB if the buyer does not complete the sale through the seller's description. PayPal is an optional payment service and the seller has to decide if they want the service.
It does sound like, however, that you have a fair amount of demand for PayPal. Buyers tend to want sellers to accept payment in this manner because it helps save them time (while also closing the sale quicker).

To PayPaldamon:
I consider your company to be an instrument of Satan.
I am thankful to Life that there is a Higher Law (Karma) which will compensate humanity for All the suffering you have brought on Us.

If I were having such problems with buyers who wont pay because of the fact you dont accept Paypal..why not insert "I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL" to make it more obvious.

I have used Paypal in the past with great success and consider a asset to do business on all the auction sites.Did you know 75% of business is done with CC on the internet.I rather send someone that than a personal check, my second option would be a postal money order as they are insured against fraud.Yes, someone claimed they did not recieve their money from me once, Post office said they did, I got my money back.Back to Paypal alot of seller's complain about .30cents transction fees, but think of all the waiting for snail mail for that check to arrive?? No paypal is not to usefull if you are selling a item below the cost of the fee you have to figure that into what your cost was and what you want to sell it at? and the mark up of the item? Do your price comparables( on the net) to find out the current market value of your items, before you sell.Hope this helps some what and you do well with your auctions. Have a nice day .

If you don't accept PayPal as apayment option why don't you use Bill Point through ebay. I use payPal at my auctions but I never keep over 40.00 in the account just in case. I've had a lot more sales cause I accept Charge Card Payments.

Here's an idea, tell them that they can pay you a fee of $5.00 (per $100 bid) for not reading your auction and "abiding" by it, and then you will accept payment through paypal...and only then if you don't want to use the account...just keep it for people such as those desribed above
