Chatting on the boards is a lot of fun and one of my favorite topics is movie car chase scenes.
What made me think of this was the visit yesterday to the mall. No, there wasn't a car chase there but I was with my wife and every time we do, we both think of the Blues Brothers movie and the scene where Joliet Jake says, You got us into this parking lot, now you get us out!
Elwood of course, slams into the mall proper and starts driving inside the mall. It was right after Elwood says the "I see the new Oldsmobiles are in" that Joliet Jake replies, "Wow, this Mall's got everything."
Of course the final chase scene -- the realistic part where all the cop cars pile up -- is one of the classic chase scenes in all of movie history.
