I have received two emails from eBay saying that the gallery image was not added. This is on two items that we have listed multiple times each. eBay's reason is that they could not reach Vendio's server. Vendio has been down and off alot lately. Below is the item numbers:

Unfortunately, your item
180060186490

has not yet been added to the gallery.
The problem is:

We could not connect to the Web server name specified by:
http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/aaronandelise/escadafuchsiafurswtr1.jpg

Check your image URL to make sure that it is correct.

You can correct your URL at:

Hey there,

I am not sure what is causing this, but have seen increased reports, and have forwarded this on to our engineering folks to research. I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

eBay is not wrong with the notices for me. When I go into my eBay store, or auction, you will find that gallery image is not shown. I have checked my two items three times each, and it shows the missing picture screen when browsing my store.

eBay states the reason gallery image was not loaded, was that they could not reach Vendio's servers.

I have also received many ERROR failure to launch over the the last week. And there is no eBay listing day special going on.

What is up with Vendio?

Aaron

Hello,

It would seem that simply resubmitting the exact same image to them should correct the issue.

http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/aaronandelise/escadafuchsiafurswtr1.jpg

The above URL is the first they said they could not locate and import into their gallery display.

Both images appear to be properly loading in your account. Others have received notices about gallery images having trouble where they are in fact loading properly (in the eBay gallery that is.)
It is possible that there was either a problem with the Vendio image hosting server at the exact same time that eBay was trying to import these images, or they have been having some trouble with importing gallery images in general recently.

Regards,
Christopher
