How to I get my auctions to show up as a "lot" on ebay?

None of my active book auctions come up when I click on "items listed as lots", even though "lot" is in the title and I'm using "mixed lots" in the item specifics.

I use SMP to make up my auctions.

Thanks,

Lynn

Hello Lynn,

When you pick the category, the first selection you would make after Books is 'Wholesale and Bulk Lots' in order to show up in the official eBay 'Lots' area.

Hi Chris,

Most of my books aren't in the book category, right now some are in collectibles and others are in home & garden.

I want to know what to do so my auctions will show up when someone's searching ANY category and clicks on "items listed as lots" on the left hand side of any main auction page.

This is what I mean.........

Show only
Items listed with PayPal
Buying Options
AuctionsBuy It Now
Free Shipping
Completed listings
Gift items
Items listed as lots

My auctions don't show up as "items listed as lots" when I just use the word "lot" in the title.

When I click on "Items listed as lots", and then look at someone's auction.... the only thing I see different is they all show Quantity and Cost per item. I pasted an example below. (This auction is not listed as a wholesale lot. It's listed under Home & Garden, Tools & Home Improvement, Building & Hardware, Doors & Door Hardware, Other).

End time: 1 hour 22 mins (Apr-07-09 22:40:24 PDT)
Shipping: US $10.50
US Postal Service Parcel PostŪ
Service to United States
Ships to: United States
Item location: santa maria, CA, United States
Quantity: 1 lot available (15 items each)
Cost per item: US $0.33 each (Not sold individually)

I have a feeling if I use the Quantity and Cost... it will make my auction show up when someone clicks on "items listed as lots".

How do I do it in SMP, so it will show: Quantity: "1 lot available" and Cost per item: "US cost $$ (Not sold individually)"?

Thanks again,
Lynn

Hello,

Outside of listing the item specifically as a lot as outlined above, id be happy to take a look at a different way to do it as you have mentioned.

In the example above, what is the item number?

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I don't know how to post a clickable link. But if you can click on this, here's a page showing all 7566 items sold "as lots" in the Collectibles category.

http://collectibles.listings.ebay.com/_W0QQcatrefZC6QQfromZR2QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQguestZ1QQsabfmtsZ1QQsacatZ1QQsalotZ1QQsaobfmtsZinsifQQsocmdZListingItemListQQsofocusZso

(This is what it says on the top of the page):

7566 items found in: Collectibles ( Save this search )
Show only: Items listed as lots Show all

Here's one individual auction in House & Garden: 110374580929.

And this auction is in Collectibles: 180344300102.

Can you see where both auctions show a Quantity and a Cost Per Item (Not sold individually).

There's items being sold in every category this way. Here's a link showing all items on ebay that are listed as lots.

http://listings.ebay.com/_W0QQdfspZ32QQfromZR2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQsabfmtsZ1QQsalotZ1QQsocmdZListingCategoryList

If you can't click on the links, send me your email address and I'll email them to you.

Thanks,
Lynn
