In sales manager inventory addition, we use UPC/ISBN when we add new products to the system, however when we want to look up some of the items we don't have in search box option to search by UPC, it would be very useful if we can just use our laser scanners here to find items that we already have in system.
Can you you please enable in the search box option to search by UPC.

Hello Mike,
I am happy to pass along the request. However, in the meantime you should be able to work around the problem by entering the UPC into either the SKU or Notes field (both of which can be searched).

Hello Mike,
Which export option exactly are you referring to where it is changing the numbers that you have entered into the SKU and Notes fields into caricatures? Have you tried formatting the Excel file for that column to be numbers without decimals or general?

When I do export to CSV from the export button, I can change the colum in excel to text but takes long time can only be done one item at at time.

Hello Mike,
Both fields export as text to my Excel. If they are not showing as text in your Excel you would need to change the format of that one column, unfortunately. Note that you can highlight and change the formatting of an entire column at once in Excel (it doesn't need to be done one cell at a time).

Hello Mike,
In order to correct this on the exported file, you will need to highlight column C, then select "Format" --> "Cells" --> then select the "Number" tab --> highlight "Number" from the "Category" list --> change the decimals setting to "0" and click "OK". Note that this has to be done only once per file.
