It does not matter what computer I am at, Vendio is very slow. It takes more that a minute to load most pages. My download speed is 25MBs+ Every other website is fine. I have been dealing with this for months now. I hate to leave after 11 years but it is killing me. What is going on?

Hello,
There are no issues with speed on the Vendio website at this time.
My internet connection is 1.5M down and I don't see any slowness on the site. Is there a specific page that it seems to be taking longer than it would normally to load?
Do you experience the same issue regardless of which browser your using?
You shouldn't be seeing a full minute to load a page unless your on a dialup modem and a slow computer, no matter which page your on (unless your trying to load the image hosting page set to 500 images per page, and then only if your on a slow machine with a dialup modem connection.)
As an example, my Sales Manager page with 300+ listings on it currently takes about 8 seconds to load start to finish.
If you haven't already, the first thing to try is simply purging your temporary internet files.
On your Windows XP with IE8 setup currently, you would go to the Tools menu at the top of the browser and then click 'Internet Options.' From here you can click to delete your temporary internet files. When finished simply restart the browser and log back into your Vendio account to verify the change in speed.
If that doesn't seem to help, try ruling out any problems with Internet Explorer itself by checking the speed in a different browser on the same computer. Google Chrome is extremely fast on Windows XP and FireFox does fairly well also.
If you can get to the same page in a different browser at a faster speed, you can then narrow down the cause to the browser itself and not malware or other locally running app's that would hog bandwidth while on feature rich websites.

I am using a cable modem both places. I am seeing it with several different pages. Usually while creating a listing but in post sale as well. I am using IE 8 windows XP at home and IE 9 Window 7 64 @ work.

Hello,
If your primarily seeing this on the create listing form, is it after you pick the category and then click the 'Continue' button at the bottom of the page?
Just to get a base line reading I did the same, in your account, and after clicking the 'continue' button to when the next page with the create listing form loaded to 100% was 13 seconds.
Ignore the difference between the two computers, it causes confusion in thinking there is nothing you have control over. The solutions for the two, if they are exactly the same, will realistically be totally different.
For the machine your on now, what time do you see from the time you click the continue button, after picking a category, to when the full create listing form is loaded?
And what is the difference when you use a browser other than Internet Explorer?

Right now bringing them up from pending to add pictures is real slow. After several minutes 2 of 3 still have not loaded

I do not see a reason for another browser. I do not have one. IE works fine for me on everything else. It is taking way to long to launch these items. I have 22 minutes in 11 auctions it should have took 5

Hello,
When you say 2 of 3 still have not loaded, is that to say you are opening 2-3 pending listing simultaneously with the multiple monitors setup - all within Internet Explorer, when you run into the speed issue?
The times I listed above to open the create item form was for a single listing only.
If you are doing them at the same time, what happens when you just do one at a time? Does the speed/time improve?
As to the browser, you don't *have* to use a different browser than Internet Explorer (certainly Microsoft would prefer that you didn't.) - But it helps in troubleshooting these types of errors to help pinpoint potential problems. If you can be on the same internet connection and the same computer but get a totally different result by only changing the browser, you can then rule out the internet connection and the computer (and any third party programs) from being the culprit.
Google's free Chrome browser is what I would usually try first just to test the behavior. It's typically 2-3 times faster than Internet Explorer on any website, let alone one that is a web based application like the Vendio Sales Manager pages are (vs just displaying basic text and graphics like any general website.)
