I'm wondering why MyEbay gives me higher numbers for how many buyers have looked at my auctions and how many are watching. Higher numbers, that is, than those that show on the Vendio control panel.
Someone mentioned this a while back, and I thought then that Vendio would have corrected this problem by now, but I see it's still there.
I'm sure the management of Vendio wants us to go to the Vendio site as often as possible. I've stopped looking at the control page for that information and instead am going to eBay's MyEbay page (which is bulkier to use, but still. . . . ).
What gives? ~Adele

Hello,
You are working under the assumption that this higher number eBay is showing is correct. More hits certainly is nicer to see, though it's more important to be accurate and only count the hits when it should.
We use Smart counters that count each person only once and only when someone fully loads your listing. That said, you can switch the counter style to the 'simple' one instead for future listings. The simple counters will add one every time the page is accessed in any way.

Thanks very much! From time to time I see this question come up on the EO. It might be helpful if you posted the info there one of these days. Adele
