The shipping profile problem has caused me to accidentally list duplicate items on ebay.
This was a problem mostly for larger Vendio customers with a lot of listing and I heard did not affect everyone.
I had to manually check and re-enter the shipping profiles for 1600 items.
I had to remake all my shipping profiles.
And now I have duplicate listing policy violations directly linked to Vendio's incompetency.
I had 2 other policy violations on ebay recently that I have fixed. However, you know that they are very strict and my account was restricted for 4 policy violations and was suspended for 4 days. Vendio is 50% responsible for this problem. The other violations were a firearms violation that I was not aware of. I sell miniature plastic guns for action figures and they wanted a penny in the image to show the scale. But I received 2 violations for that which I did fix and was not your problem.
Policy violations can come sometimes easily when you have that many listings and often are not justified. That is usually not a problem though since they drop off in a few months. However, now if I get one more violation I will be suspended for 14 days and after that banned permanent if another occurs. I have to get no more violations until early June.
Everthing else is perfect with ebay and I have 99.9% feedback and am a top rated seller.
I think I really need to make a change. Why can't you guys just do a good job with your software?
Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your feedback and story of what happened.
What was it about the shipping profile that triggered you to submit duplicate listings to eBay?
The corruption of some of the shipping data certainly could have caused some users items to fail to submit, but it shouldn't have triggered any items to post on their own.
