I am going to be away from my store quite a bit in the upcoming months and have decided that the best way to handle this would be to end all of my 9000 store listings so I don't have to keep paying eBay $450/month for hidden listings. Some of my listings are ancient and were revised using turbolister to take out nasty words likes "cash, checks, money orders" etc. If I relist when I come home using Vendio I am afraid I will come up with a mess of listings that will need to be revised again. I could relist using eBay but then I lose Vendio tracking...I could relist with eBay and import them all into Vendio I guess. What would you suggest is the best way to handle it? I would keep my Vendio account active through it all and may even post some auctions. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, the changes that you made to the active listings will not be reflected in Vendio. A possible solution (something that I would not normally recommend) would be to delete the active listings from your Vendio account and then reimport them into Vendio, before cancelling them on eBay.
Please note that if you are using the inventory items in your account, then the inventory items will not be updated after doing this (only the listings themselves).
I would recommend trying this with one item first (again, as these are not common actions). To do this go to your list of active listings, select one of the listings and click the "Delete" button. This will remove the record of the listing from your Vendio account. Then do an import by going to "Sales Manager" --> "Import/Track" --> "Import my eBay Listings". This will import any listings that are not currently in your Vendio account. The thought here is that when the listings import they will import with the settings that are currently associated with the active listings.
Please try with one item first to make sure that everything looks correct to you, and if it looks right then complete the process with the rest of your items (the listings can be deleted in bulk from your Vendio account up to 100 at a time).

Vendio imported listings have a couple of issues though as I remember. One is that the import duplicates the images. It seems to me that when I have tried to relist imported items the custom listing text and template duplicate as well. I will experiment a little. Thanks

Yes, unfortunately it is not a perfect solution (just the best I can think of for your situation). If you do decide to go this route I would recommend doing the process shortly before cancelling the listings on eBay (making sure that you leave enough time for them to import back into Vendio). However, it shouldn't hurt to test with a listing or two in the meantime.

Thanks Nathan. I finally decided that I would end them and then relist with eBay and import to Vendio. It simply is the quickest way to go - both in relisting and ending. The newer items (ones listed after I took the forbidden wording out of my templates) can be relisted through Vendio.
