Hi. When is Vendio going to add USPS Standard post to the menu in the listing form?

Hello,

Unfortunately, eBay does not support the more expensive Standard Post. They only support the less expensive Parcel Select (which is the same service but used when printing postage online). Should eBay decide to support Standard Post then we will consider adding it as an option at that time. In the meantime if you select "Parcel Post" it will be sent to eBay as "Parcel Select".

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan, thank you. Okay, sellers are now being able to use Parcel Select thru ebay. When is Vendio going to take out Parcel Post and replace it with Parcel Select so that the USPS calculated shipping costs are calculated correctly? Thanks, Mnk.

Hello,

Parcel Select is what eBay defaulted all Parcel Post items to after the switch in January. The shipping service they have failed to support thus far is Standard Post - which is what Parcel Post was renamed to.

As it stands right now when you send eBay Parcel Post as the shipping carrier - they will display it as Parcel Select and display the Parcel Select rates as a result.

The Vendio embedded shipping calculator that you can optionally display in your item descriptions - we are mapping Parcel Post to Standard Post as this is what Parcel Post was renamed to.

We plan to offer official support in the future for Parcel Select as a separate service from Standard Post.

eBay will show and charge your buyer the lower Parcel Select rates - and for now Vendio will show our own calculator with the Standard Post rates when Parcel Post is selected. (optionally disabling the Vendio calculator from the item description area may avoid any potential confusion if any of your buyers have noticed the difference.)

Regards,
Chris
