I just purchased a new computer with Windows 8. I load the pictures we have taken to the computer, rotate them all upright and then load them to Vendio. But for some reason, they load in the direction they were taken, not in the rotated form. I have never had this happen before. Only on this new computer. Can someone help? Thanks
Chances are your changing the orientation of the image in a viewing program which isn't actually editing the file itself - just making it remember that you prefer to view that photo rotated left/right/etc.
Try altering the orientation in a different program than what your using now prior to your next upload and see if this changes the behavior.

No that is not the problem. I am correcting the rotation in the file. In every photo viewer they show correct except when I upload them. The upload shows how the picture was taken. It is very frustrating. I have never had this problem before
Try opening the file within MSPaint and see how the image orients. If the file uploads with the original orientation then the file itself hasn't been edited - rather an entry has been added to the meta data that says 'display this rotated right' so other image viewers know to turn it on the display (but the original file remains in tact.)
MSPaint should show the image in it's true orientation, so if it hasn't really been rotated (vs just noted that viewers should do so) you will see it ready to rotate and actually save in a rotated orientation vs just changing how it displays in a viewer.
