The last 2 evenings I have tried unsuccessfully to launch 3 seperate auctions. Both times I've received the following error message . . . .
"Unknown launch error. We were unable to verify the launch of your auction. It is possible that your auction did launch, so we suggest that you check the auction venue directly to verify before attempting another launch."
I have checked the auction venue, and my auctions are not launching. Its been 9 hours since my 2nd attempt to launch these auctions. Suggestions?

ILuvSnoopy-Read the thread just below this and I am having the same problem. I have been writing to both AW and eBay about this and this morning as AW says it is a ebay problem. I received an email from eBay and they said it was AWs problem. Who cares whos problem it is I hope it get fixed soon. It could even be my fault. I have 3 auctions I have been trying to launch for 2 days and nothing. They still have error messages. This is a new user ID for me as I am trying to use two of them so I am not a newbie to launching. I went into ebay thinking I had spelled my password wrong when I registered so I changed it. Then, I went back in to AW and changed it there but that was not the problem. I sure wish this would resolve. It sure is frustrating. I havent tried to launch anything from my older user ID but I am going to try today and see what happens. [B}I wish AW would answer my emails or my post in the next thread[/B]. I wonder if anyone else is having problems. All I can say is I wish us luck in trying to sell.

Hello,
The errors you have outlined appear to have started when eBay changed the login process on their site. We are in the process of investigating, however, the cause of the errors is not readily apparent at this point. Most users report that they are eventually able to launch the auctions after repeated tries, so please do continue to try launching your auctions.
Thanks for your patience while we continue to look into this.

Again....I have been attempting to launch since 2 nights ago. On the above post I wrote the information received when I went to the ebay preview. Here is the rest of it***Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
**********************
Now since I am launching from AW I feel that it is the problem of AW to look into the problem. I really don't care whos fault it is I would like it fixed. I would like to know if it is only ebays fault why isn't this auction listed in my storefront? I hope this is resolved soon.

Hi Septembermom,
The error message that we are getting back for your account says that you have not yet setup your eBay sellers account. There are additional steps that you need to take. Please login to eBay, click on sell, then choose a category, and after that you will be asked for some additional information.

HELLO, I figured I'd find my answers here, I just tried to "SCHEDULE" an auction 3 times it failed 3 times in a row... Ended up going to EBAY to do it manually.. come on this is what we are PAYING FOR HERE...
I do sympathize w/ the fact that EBAY decided to change things for no reason... But if AW doesn't do what it's supposed to it's not much use to me.
THANK YOU
All that & a Bag of Chips Too!!

I have been trying to launch auctions this week and have been getting the same error messages as everybody else. Very frustrating when my inventory is very timely in nature and when you get up at 4:30 A.M. to get auctions ready before going to the real job.
Hope it gets resolved ASAP.
Thanks

The amazing thing is that I have been reporting this problem for the last two weeks to the Customer Service folks at AW and while I did get a few responses I have not received any word since my last two emails. I have called AW and no one answered the phones there all day yesterday. I wonder if they are even working on this problem???? eBay has checked and my account is in good standing (something that AW said would help was bringing my bill up-to-date...so I tried that as well)

Hi Rjq, Alfiesautographs and Gcomeau,
Please log on directly to eBay and try to launch an auction there. If you cannot get your auction launched on eBay, please contact their customer support department to find out what needs to be done to get you up and running. If you are able to launch, please post here and let me know so that we can further investigate.

Hi Neandkev,
Before you sell on eBay, you'll need to open a seller's account for identification purposes.
Go here to complete the steps:

Hi Lotofstuff,
I checked your account and it shows one pending listing that doesn't have an error on it. If that is the one you were getting an error message for, please resubmit it and if it comes back in error, post and let me know so I can take a look at it.

Hi Rhonda,
You will still need to find out what your correct eBay password is, and store that in your account here at AuctionWatch.
eBay is sending back the error message stating : "Your password is not valid. Please try again."
That means the password you stored as your eBay password under the Universal Registration tab is wrong. Go to the Universal Registration tab, and click to edit your stored eBay ID. Delete the password stored there currently, and enter the most recent password you used to sign in at eBay. If you are unsure, go to eBay.com and click to log into your account first, and verify what you end up using to get you logged into your account there.

Hello,
For some reason, you had stored your eBay ID as lotofstuff, when in fact your eBay username is your full email address.
While I was able to correct this for you, there is another step you have to take before listing your items. Right now, you only have a bidding ID with eBay, and will need to place a credit card on file with them to start listing your auctions.
http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?SellerSignIn
The above URL is where you can go to set up your ID as a sellers account at eBay now. When finished, you should finally be able to list your items.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello lotofstuff,
The error message returned from eBay indicates that the eBay password you have stored on our site is incorrect.
Please try logging in directly at eBay to ensure you are entering the correct info - once you have successfully logged on to eBay, click the Universal Registration tab on our site and edit the eBay account information with the correct login info. After this is done, you should be able to then launch your auction.
Good luck!

I too have been having problems. My problems have been the message: Auction Data Failure; Failed in Gallery URL. I have gone into ebay directly and entered the same info and have been able to list some items. Why? I don't mind going through ebay first, but the only thing is that my items are not listing in my storefront. There have been two items that have been listed through AW that have worked. I have several more items to enter, but I really would like to go through AW! I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks,,
