AM allows you to email your customer list only once every 10 days. This is a very limiting restriction. What is the reasoning behind this limitation???
If you run auctions once a week you want to email your customers once a week to let them know about your auctions. Since AM does not have an export feature... your forced to cut and past all the email address to a separate group mail package to allow to email whenever needed.
For the amount of money We're paying AW We should be able to email customers whenever we want.
Also, You need to design an export feature so that customer emails and information can be exported.
Can you provide any info as to if these things are being looked at and when AW might be able to provide these capabilities???
I asked about this a few months ago and have heard nothing.

Hi Fcapolongo,
You may email customers whenever you like, but only from individual auctions. We place a limit on the customer list so people don't abuse the system and use it for spam mailing lists.
I pay AW to provide tools to allow me to manage business and communicate with customers. Emailing from each individual auction to send out a weekly newsletter to my customers would take me all day and is totally impractical.
I have to say that I object to AW appointing themselves to police my emailing activities. Everyone of the members of my email lists have the option to opt out of the list at anytime (and very few do). These people want to be alerted about new auctions I am running. I'm sure this applies to most Sellers. I should be able to email my "confirmed" customers anytime I want... not at the behest and under the control of AW.
Why not relax the restriction and monitor the few who abuse it?? Why do honest, considerate business people have to accommadate this restriction due to the few who abuse???
Second, you did not answer my question about exporting. Why is it that whenever I leave a post for you guys the majority of the time the answer provided is incomplete or some times off the mark. I'm sure you have many post to read but it's frustrating when your questions are not answered completely.
I have to say that I am one of the few that has supported your pricing structure (Standard Plan). I am becoming more and more concerned with AW's ability to be a viable support tool...your value proposition is becoming fuzzy. AW needs to understand the difference between "users" and "Business Partners". We are not "users".
The reality is.. I don't even know why I am wasting the time to type this post... I am certain that nothing will become of it.
Sorry for the delay in responding.
If you would like to leave feedback regarding our policies, you will need to do so in the feedback forum. The Auction Manager forum is for questions and answers regarding the Auction Manager product only.
Currently, we have no plans of ever offering an export feature to the customers section, or lifting the 10 day ban on bulk mailing your customers.
Again, if you have feedback you would like to leave for us on this issue, feel free to do so in the appropriate location.
